Received unsolicited mail to my address…
Received unsolicited mail to my address with a fictitious name saying I could claim a refund on my car finance. The name of the person on this letter certainly hasn't lived here in the last 30 years or so. Really doesn't bode well for their reputation if they can't get a name right.

Send out 1000s of letters with fake names at the top. They hope you'll respond and tell them your real name, then extract a massive fee from the claim.
You can very easily claim yourself - just search MSE Reclaim Car Finance and you're sorted without the thieving fees.

Sent a letter telling me DOG they could claim compensation for car finance.
So I don't drive, have never taken out car finance yet receive a letter in my DOGS name to my house. My dog's name: Broly. Yes. The Dragonball character. Surely someone in a company would be able to look and go "that name sounds fake". I would also like to know how they know my dog's name and my address. Weird and peculiar. Tried to find a phone number and nothing, so I'm guessing they are either buying peoples information online or doing something shady to send a DOG a letter regarding car finance.
