AVOID AT ALL COSTS ITS A SCAM

Be careful this is a scam company, they try to manipulate you into buying a report and trick sellers on platforms to make them believe they will only buy the car if you provide a report through their website. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Vehicle report scam

I was contacted by a “buyer” who showed interest in my car but refused to proceed unless I bought a specific vehicle report costing £34 from this site. He claimed it was “recommended by his mechanic” and kept pushing for it. I offered alternative, well-known checks or for the buyer to obtain the report themselves, but they insisted I pay for their chosen report. This is a common scam tactic targeting private sellers, once the report is bought, the buyer disappears.

Likely Scam – Avoid This Website

Very likely a scam. A “buyer” from Gumtree tried to pressure me into buying a vehicle check from this exact website for £34, promising to reimburse me later. Huge red flag.

I already had a legit vehicle report from a trusted provider, which he refused to accept. That says it all.

Avoid and be careful.

Possible scam – be careful

I was contacted by a Gumtree buyer who insisted I purchase a £34 vehicle report from this site before he would view my car. After checking Trustpilot, I found many identical reports describing the same tactic. This appears to be a scam targeting private sellers.

Scam

Mutliple times had people asking for a RB report from this website. Quite fun to play with them and have them thinking youre gonna pay but be careful and avoid sending any personal details or money.

Scam

Listed my car for sale on a popular selling site. Few hours later a fake buyer tried to get me to get a vehicle report from a suspicious website. Red bird vehicle report. Beware!

SCAMMERS

PESTERING by text message. no clue where the car was for sale, too specific in providing their address, rather than an approximate location. Wouldn't ever phone or accept a phone call.

Scam

Scam – avoid

I was contacted by someone pretending to be a genuine buyer for my used car listed on Facebook Marketplace and Gumtree. I had already provided a valid pre-inspection vehicle report from a trusted source.
Despite this, they insisted I purchase another vehicle report from this website and refused to pay for it themselves. They pressured me to buy it first, claiming they would reimburse me later when viewing the car.
This is a common scam tactic used to trick sellers into paying for fake or unnecessary reports. Do not fall for it. Avoid this website.
