My experience with RedBox Rx was terrible. They are slow, inflexible, passive aggressive, and not 100% honest. I had an immediate care need that needed a medication within a couple of days. They waited 3 days after I got the prescription to ship it, and they used UPS ground, which means that it will be a full week between the medical consultation and receiving the medication. I now need to go to an ER to have this matter handled. Adding to the frustration is their passive-aggressive customer service reps who seemed to be trained to say "I'm sorry you feel that way" in response to customer dissatisfaction.

This is actually a scam. Their terms specifically state they will refund you if you don’t get a prescription. I was never given a prescription and refused a refund, the support agent made no sense and said refunds are not allowed and prescriptions are not guaranteed and linked me to the terms that specifically state refunds are guaranteed if prescriptions aren’t sent.
The customer service is actually insane, Brandi was very unprofessional, and even lied then linked terms that went against what she said.
Good thing I used a CC, and they sent me their terms.
Never got a refund and had to do a chargeback dispute on my CC. I gave them the chance and they just lie to you. Insane.

I got tretinoin from them and it was easy and quick but it has not worked for me at all. The only other brand I’ve tried was from apostrophe and it worked so well but they no longer exist. The consistency of RedBox’s tret was super chalky and dry it was weird. Even after 3 months (the maximum amount of time you should be able to see if something works for you or not) and my skin was still super dry and congested. With the tret I got from apostrophe my skin was literally perfect and I had started with worse skin than when I started using RedBox tret. I haven’t found their product effective at all and would not recommend to others.

For privacy purposes I am not going to reveal the NP that interviewed me, but she was professional, warm and friendly. We even talked about personal lives a bit. Truly an experience I was not expecting with an online Rx visit.

Very user friendly website fast and convenient service and the fees are even cheaper than paying the co-pay for they insurance I used to have. This is a great alternative if you are self-employed free lancer or between jobs and don’t have insurance and need meds for simple treatments. A+

While this service can be helpful for getting a prescription without any hassle, I would argue it is not a good option for any conditions that are more complicated or if you experience any side-effects.
I scheduled a video consultation for a side effect I was having with my prescribed birth control. After arriving late, my provider didn't give any explanation (or possible explanation of what could be causing my symptoms), didn't offer any alternatives, and just told me to see my GYN. After about 4 minutes of the visit, and not really answering any of my questions, the visit was over and I felt I had wasted my time and money.
Update: Customer service reached out to offer a refund, which is much appreciated!

RedBox makes the process easy. The physician was a good communicator, and impressed me as being well informed. The drug arrived as promised. It took a wee bit longer to get here than I'd hoped, but they provide a tracking number which reduces the stress.

Why did I waste 25 dollars for nothing? I was given some bogus reason why I could not get a prescription for a medication, even though I've been on it for headaches for a while now. Just a lame money grab. It's really aggrevating because right now I just had jaw surgery and I need something to help me relax.

After waiting 72 hours for the product I paid for I decided to give them a call and they told me that it would still take two more days. That would be five business days. I need my medicine quicker. I never would’ve went with this company I asked for a refund and they did refund the cost of the product but not the cost of the consultation now I am out the consultation fee and I have no product and have to start from square one. I highly do not recommend this company. They wasted my time and took my money. I am a senior on a fixed income.

I contacted this company on a Saturday as I was unable to get to an urgent care and being a weekend my physicians office was closed. My request was for an ointment for mosquito bites as I am allergic to this type of mosquito. The bites don't cause just annoying itching, they form painful welts that not only itch but have a burring sensation. I was prescribed the ointment requested, my insurance formulary covered this, so not even a co-pay was needed. When I used the ointment, there was no relief. I contacted the company to request a stronger dose and was told a clinician would call in a few hours or latest call back, no later than noon the following day. I never received a call back. I did end up going to my doctor the next day and getting what I needed. I called the customer service line to explain I never did receive a call back. The C.S rep reviewed my file and explained this company does not have a stronger dose on their formulary. It was never disclosed they have their own formulary. Had I been called back and requested a stronger dose, they wouldn't have prescribed it (due to their formulary restrictions) and I would have had to pay a second consult fee of $69.00 to get a stronger dose of the same medication for the same issue. I requested a refund and was told they would not refund the original $69.00 consult fee. And was offered an apology for not receiving a call back.

I needed a new prescription for Tazarotene and didn't want to go back to dermatologist since they no longer accepted my insurance. Tried RedBox and it was incredibly easy and cost effective. The initial process was quick and painless, approved same day, received prescription same week. Awesome service. This is a product I already used and RedBox allows me to continue without costing an arm and a leg!

I started using them recently. All was fine until ready to continue prescription. I set up an appointment this morning. I waited until appointment time and didn’t get a call so I started helping a customer. I called them and they said they tried to call and then simply cancelled my prescription bc of a “no show” after I paid, and said they were keeping the prescription money, saying it belongs to them bc of the no show. Here’s the worst part. There was no missed call on my phone. I also did not receive a voicemail or text for proof they called. I waited several hours for a follow up and then emailed them. A few minutes later I get the cancellation text, HOURS LATER AND ONLY AFTER I EMAILED QUESTIONING THEM. You’re at their mercy 100% if they say they called and didn’t, I guess it’s an easy $35 for no services rendered. Third world experience.
