HORRIBLE: I had a very disappointing experience…

Response to Owner – Jen L'Estrange
Hi Jen,
I appreciate your response, but I must follow up.
If the office was closed on Monday, it would have been far more professional and respectful to notify candidates then, rather than waiting until Wednesday to send a reschedule request just one hour before the interview. Expecting someone to rearrange their schedule on the same day is not only inconvenient—it is disrespectful, poorly managed, and reflects a lack of basic planning.
Your explanation that a backlog caused the delay does not excuse last-minute communication. Candidates’ time and commitments deserve to be treated seriously, and this approach frankly makes your organization appear disorganized and dismissive.
Original Review:
I had a very disappointing experience with Radclover HR. An interview was scheduled, and then it was canceled and pushed to reschedule just one hour before the agreed time. This shows a lack of professionalism and poor planning.
Candidates rearrange their schedules, work commitments, and personal responsibilities to accommodate interviews. Canceling at the last minute without proper consideration is extremely disrespectful.
Based on my experience, the process felt disorganized and badly managed. I would not recommend working with this company.

Hi Olga,

Thanks for reaching out and I'm happy to clarify the situation. While we serve clients across the United States, our offices are based in New Jersey. On Monday, we were hit with a major snowstorm which affected the entire team. I announced an office closure and asked everyone to work from home. A number of our team members suffered power and/or internet outages during that time.

I understand that your interview was scheduled for Wednesday and, while we were back up and running normally by then, I hope you can understand that there was some backlog that we had to work through. I believe that you were requested to reschedule at 9a ET for an introductory interview scheduled for 3p ET. I completely understand if you didn't see the message as soon as it was sent and apologize if you were caught off guard or felt that your time was not valued. It was certainly not the intent.

Our goal is always to provide top-tier, customized HR support to our clients and, when engaged for RPO services, we aim to demonstrate the same service levels to the candidates we interview on their behalf. While I am sorry that your experience didn't reflect this, I hope you understand the circumstances that prompted the request to reschedule.

Best regards,
Jen L'Estrange
