RED Driving School 

I started taking lessons with Cherag Miah from RED two weeks before my manual driving test at Wood Green on the 18th. Before that, I had some insignificant driving experience from almost two years ago in a completely different area to my test centre. I started out hesitant with poor observation skills and improper positioning on the road. With Cherag, I substantially improved all aspects of my driving thanks to a substantial amount of detailed instruction from him and additional materials to support my learning. My instructor was patient, thoughtful and very clearly explained my mistakes to me and gave me simple but effective tips to correct them. With thorough plans, each lesson revealed a new mistake, but due to his clear-cut feedback I immediately improved and avoided making the same mistakes in subsequent lessons. My driving was so polished within this two week timeframe that I ended up passing first try with zero faults! Would absolutely recommend Cherag Miah to anyone looking to improve on their driving to pass their practical with flying colours.

I know you are looking for driving lessons and planning to invest your hard-earned money, which is why I am writing this review to guide you: Do not do your driving with RED. This driving school, with offices in Billingham, has a clear track record of defrauding customers. The instructors verbally agree on a lesson time with you, promise to send a confirmation text, and explicitly tell you not to worry about using the app because 'it sucks.' They then go ahead and book a completely separate time, sneaking the altered time into the final paragraph of a text message confirmation. If you are busy and reply to confirm the day without spotting the fine print, the trap is set. They will turn up at your house early, take a photo, send a quick text, and immediately disappear. They will later claim to customer service that they sat outside your house for 45 minutes and knocked on your door—a complete lie they invented after realising you do not have a doorstep camera. They never mention 'knocking' during your initial live text chat. RED's customer service blindly backs these fabricated stories, seemingly only to protect their fees, and completely fails to ask why the driver never bothered to make a single phone call. They will happily charge you a full £60 lesson fee for zero service. Mind you, your first full two hours with them will just be talk anyway, so they take your money and you learn absolutely nothing. If you think you deserve value for your money, run far away from this school. You did not do any investigation, you just posted the same shabby investigation that your customer service said they did and the refund you are referring to was for the remaining unused balance of the block lessons I paid for, because I cancelled the contract due to this fraudulent charge of £60 for the lesson in question. They said they are charging because he said he knocked, which is a big lie, it is very surprising that a person who sat outside for 45minutes would not attempt calling but would preferred to knock. This is a clear lie. No Wonder Red Driving School Billingham has 2.1 rating on Google Map, that fact alone speak for itself. Take feedback seriously and investigate Red Driving School Billingham because their customer service standards might affect your reputation.

I passed my test first time!! I’m based in North London and my instructor’s name is Abir Hammoud. I cannot recommend her enough!!!! She is fantastic, caring and makes you feel confident and safe on the road. She is the best instructor and anyone who has her is very lucky. Ryan has recently taught my Grandson who passed his test on the first occasion. Ryan was extremely thorough and totally honest with my Grandson , there was certainly no extra lessons for lessons sake and additional costs.
Ryan was punctual and kept in touch with my Grandson throughout the process , giving him feedback on his lessons and progress constantly.
He was knowledgeable in his instructing and dealt with my Grandson professionally but kept the lessons enjoyable by talking about my Grandson's interests., this was a big help as it put my Grandson at ease.
I am aware , through social media posts , that Ryan has an exceptionally high first time pass rate , which he helped when we were looking for an Instructor.
I highly recommend Ryan to any upcoming new learner driver.

I had an excellent experience learning to drive with Kamruz Shuheb. His teaching style made me feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel, even when I was very nervous at the beginning. Kamruz explained everything clearly and always took the time to ensure I fully understood each manoeuvre and driving technique before moving on.

Thanks to his expert tuition, I was able to pass my driving test on the first attempt with zero minor faults, something I never imagined possible when I first started learning. That achievement is truly a reflection of his excellent teaching and dedication to his students’ success.

I recently passed my Practical test with no minors thanks to Syed Mohammad Khurram Gillani. Brilliant instructor that tailors lessons to what you want to work on, makes sure to be thorough with all aspects of driving and ensures learns feel comfortable at all times. Just passed my automatic driving test at Hendon thanks to Arun Sanghani from Red Driving School. Arun is a great instructor who made me feel comfortable and confident from the start. His tips for manoeuvres and knowledge of the Hendon (and Mill Hill) test routes were really helpful and the car was nice and easy to drive too.

My instructor (Geoff) gave lots of examples on how to do things, especially manoeuvres. He knew exactly what I needed to focus on when and the feedback he gave me from mock practical tests I think were the most helpful things to get me to pass. I definitely recommend.

Tanisha Broady is a very professional and supportive driving instructor. She is strict in a good way and really teaches you to drive safely and properly, not just to pass the test.
She helped me stop rushing, improve my observations and make better decisions at junctions and roundabouts. Her instructions were always clear and she encouraged me to stay calm and focused while driving.

Took some lessons with Riad Attiyah in Manchester, passed first try. A very good teacher, very clear and understandable approach. He gave me a comprehensive coverage of the test and taught me everything there is to learn. Best instructor out there, wouldn’t recommend anyone else.
