I had a great experience with Eddie (EDUART GOXHA, 07877611409) instructing me for driving lessons. I felt confident with every lesson I took and it felt to be a constructive effort to get through. Unsurprisingly, I passed it in one go. Absolutely recommended.

I’ve had my US license since I was 16 and have been living in the UK for 11 years, so driving isn’t new to me—but I finally decided it was time to get my UK license. I started lessons in June 2025 with a different instructor and an older car, which was fine for getting back into the rhythm. I had lessons until mid-August before going on holiday, and the only test slot I could get was literally the day I returned.

While I was away, I received a message with the heartbreaking news that my instructor’s mother had passed and he wouldn’t be able to take me to my test. He kindly put me in touch with someone covering for him, but they weren’t available either—and that’s when I was introduced to Edi.

Even though I met Edi for the first time on the day of my test, I immediately felt more confident with him. His instructions were clear, calm, and reassuring, and his newer car definitely helped. I ended up failing that first test—not because of nerves or poor driving, but because a bus decided to jump out at me. I got just 4 minors, and honestly, it felt like one of those unlucky moments.

My theory was set to expire on 15th September, and I only had two possible dates to retake the test before that deadline. Edi made sure he was available, even though it meant going to a different test centre in Sidcup. He picked me up early, drove me around the area, and showed me the kinds of routes the examiner might take. The roundabouts there were much bigger and trickier than West Wickham, but Edi took the time to make sure I was confident before the exam.

I passed with just 2 minors—and I genuinely don’t think I could’ve done it without Edi’s support. He was calm, strategic, and made sure I had everything I needed to succeed under pressure.
