Being accused of bypassing their measures.
Had my first (ever made) order cancelled because the company confuses me with a previous unsatisfied customer. A costumer who apparently is restricted from their service.
Reason why? Because I apparently live in the same country as this particular costumer. You even admit that you cannot definitively confirm a direct connection. You just assume that the costumer is me.
You might define it as “adhere to your (so-called) security protocols” BUT!
Yet you as a company have the audacity to ask me to remove a negative Trustpilot review, that is not associated with or written by me, if I wish to have my order shipped.
As I informed you, this is MY Trustpilot account with my full name and a picture, and you just got my first 1-star review. Congratulations!
Why? Unprofessional and distrustful attitude towards new customers. I have never experienced such behaviour from a store or webshop. Or being accused of being someone else and have to prove that I’m not that person.

As a addition to this one-star review, I would like to address the way, this company and especially its CEO decided to act in their eagerness to have me remove this review.
1.
The CEO of RedKey USB used my personal information to try to connect to my personal LinkedIn-profile. No matter your CEO’s intentions, it is a clear violation of my privacy as I didn’t consent to be contacted by your company or your CEO via any of my private social media profiles.
Note here, that Redkey USB have confirmed that they did try to connect. Apparently with the intent of opening a constructive dialogue. I define it as harassment taken this company's other actions into consideration.
2.
You gained information about where I work, and decided to target the company, I work for by writing a false one-star Trustpilot review as well as making negative comments on the companys YouTube-page. Likely a kind of payback in order to pressure me to delete this review.
No matter your reasons for doing this, such behavior can only be consider highly unprofessional and disrespectful! The review and comments have later been deleted - either by RedKey USB, Trustpilot or myself.
3.
Further the CEO of Redkey USB decided to personally contact the CEO of the company, I work for regarding the one-star review as well a sharing information only RedKey USB and I know of. A clear violation of GDPR as you share private information with a third party, that is not even involved in the dispute between your company and I.
Your behaviour is appalling, and there is no excuse for your illegal actions here! It has always been a private matter - and my order details clearly states it.
Due to this company's harassing way of handling my original review, I wish no further contact with your CEO or RedKey USB - not by e-mail, social media platforms or via the company, I work for.
Also I have no intentions on deleting my review as potential costumers needs to be fully aware of the behavior, RedKey and its CEO exhibits. My bad experience with your company is genuine and within Trustpilot guidelines.
An invoice can easily be provided to Trustpilot, if needed.

Update, 17th of February 2025:
On what part of “I wish no further contact with your/this company” do you or your CEO not understand?
On February 13th you decided to contact me again via my personal e-mail without my permission. That is a clear violation of GDPR and violation of UK Anti-spam law. Yes, sending e-mails without permission is considered illegal - both in the UK and the EU. The e-mail has been reported to the right instance.
In your e-mail you’re reaching out again to see if I am willing to meet your demands - or as the CEO writes word by word: Our request is simple: we would like you to remove your Trustpilot review so that we can both move on.
In an e-mail dated November 8th you ask me to remove a 1 star review another customer has written:
— In good faith, we are prepared to fulfil your order on the condition that the mentioned review is removed from Trustpilot first. Please notify us by replying to this email once the review has been removed, and we will promptly process your order.
Let’s cut the waffle!
As stated before, my horrible experience with your company is genuine and within Trustpilot guidelines. You/RedKey USB asking me to remove my review to get a free product is however not. Invoice, bank statements and full e-mail correspondences can be provided.
Notice!
My response is not an open invitation or a permission for you/Red Key USB to contact me again. Not by e-mail, social media platforms or via the company, I work for.
Please respect my privacy - and please avoid to share how you solve your disputes with other customers, including the one you "forced" to donate to charity in order for the customer to get your product. That is between you and that particular customer!
