Not even worth 1 star
Not even worth 1 star. Absolute joke of a company, been trying to cancel current gap insurance for 2 weeks and every-time I am met with ‘nobody available’. Do not use.

Not even worth 1 star. Absolute joke of a company, been trying to cancel current gap insurance for 2 weeks and every-time I am met with ‘nobody available’. Do not use.
Empty promises regarding my withdrawals. Topciphertrails got involved and changed the situation. I got a refund swiftly.
I had tyre and alloy insurance with them. I have never claimed insurance before but had just been in an accident on an icy road, scraping my alloys along a curbside as I skidded. Red line were of no help. They offered minimal money as they said their mobile technician could NOT FIX. I went to another company who said they could easily fix all 4. Redline offered me £150 to REPLACE knowing my alloys were £2k. I told them I can have them all fixed for 120 each. They refused. They are happy to collect your money every month without fail, but won't payout when needed. I would bother using them
Not even worth 1 star. Terrible customer service I have been trying to cancel this policy, I will be reporting this to my bank as I believe this is a fraudulent company. No one calls back and they forward their calls to an "answering service". With all these awful reviews, I doubt you're that busy you take calls or respond to 3 week old emails. Disgusting customer service.
AVOID!!!!!!
I cancelled my policy after it was sold me by VW and not being fit for purpose
1 month later I am still awaiting my return premium to land in my bank account. They assured me a week ago it was with the finance team .... still not arrived
This company are by far the biggest load of idiots i have ever dealt with, we have making monthly payments since 2023 on a standing order when the 1st falls on a weekend - they harras us saying its late.
They have created issues in my personal life and worst still, not onw of them communicate. If I give lower than 1 star I would- a pathetic company!
Terrible service and terrible company!
Submitted car paintwork damage claim two months ago. Still hasn't been looked at.
Truly awful finance company.
30 min wait time on the phone then hangs up.
Terrible IT infrastructure.
No reset email password appearing.
They are horrendous. We lodged a claim for a slow puncture caused by a nail on a 2 month old car. They took 3 weeks to come back to us, by which time we had fixed and forgotten we even lodged the claim. Cancelled policy that day.
Unclaimable insurance. Webpage to make claim is broken. Phone queries take unacceptably long. They won't fix minor damages on my car because I have street parking and need 2 metres of space around my car, and Redline doesn't offer any assistance in terms of finding a suitable location where I can just bring the car for repairs. I'll save myself any further hassle and just pay to get it done at my nearest workshop (which is obviously the point of making this system as hostile as possible). Money down the drain.
They are horrendous to get in touch with. They took 8 months to reply to an email regarding my change of address. I was on hold for 55 minutes only for someone to tell me that they 'couldn't tell me the address that they had for me on file' and when trying to get access to my online portal, I was told that the weekend receptionist couldn't access any details or provide any information...so what's the point in answering the phone if they can't actually do anything.
Awful experience so far.
Contacted then twice to ask how I could create an account to be able to view my finance payments.
On both occasions I was told that someone will contact me.
No contact has been made so far!
I also don't understand why they couldn't do it over the phone and need to call me back to create an online account.
With every other company you are able to just do that in their website.
Ah but have you seen their website?
It's a joke!🤣
There are no tabs to create or view your account!
redlinefinance.co.uk
I've phoned them again today and waited 55 minutes to speak to an operator.
No joy so I've given up on the call!
My last resort is trading finance!
I didn't know that apparently you can change finance company but seen a review on here that mentions this.
I will do some research and change finance company.
AWFUL COMPANY! DO NOT USE!
We purchased minor damage and alloy wheel and tyre policies when buying a car last year. With some scrapes on our alloys we started a claim to have them repaired.
Took an age to get a response. Had to chase up progress and was eventually told that the wheels had been reviewed (photos of them I provided) to be told that two are repairable while two had deeper scratches that couldn’t be repaired.
On site man arrived and said that none could be repaired. Advised that they might direct me to take wheels to a repair shop, and I should hear in about two weeks.
Having read about others having failures with minor damage cover I am concerned that I’ve been scammed 🥴
I had changed my car finance from Redline/Toyota to another company and wasn't aware i had outstanding balance to be paid. I have emailed called holding on line for 40 minutes then been disconnected. I had attempted to speak to someone to organise my missed payments but no response. They have now affected credit score detailing missing payments but no one responds so I can get this sorted. Do not under any circumstances use this company shambolic but quick to put my credit score down
I have tried since December 2024 to date
Terrible Customer Service - Avoid Redline Finance at All Costs!
Redline Finance's customer service is an absolute joke. I've never dealt with such unhelpful and frankly, obnoxious representatives. They were completely unwilling to address my concerns and offered no assistance whatsoever. To make matters worse, my final statement was riddled with ridiculous, unexplained charges. Trying to get any clarification or resolution was like pulling teeth. They made the entire process incredibly frustrating and stressful. If you value your time and money, steer clear of Redline Finance! Their customer service is clearly not a priority, and they seem more interested in adding hidden fees than actually helping their customers
What an awful experience! I bought minor damage insurance from them when I bought my car. Few months later, I had a minor scratch and very little dent on my care due to an accident. Nothing special just very small dent and some small scratches here and there. It took them 5 weeks to consider my claim! “We are short of staff” they said each time I called. After several calls, the fourth time to be accurate, they said they have done it! They had done the evaluation, but they didn’t send it to me until I called. They came up with all excuses not to do the job. Of course they cover themselves with the long list of “terms and conditions”. I had a feeling that they were looking for excuses not to do the repair. They were not helpful at all. I had the same insurance for my previous car from another company and I can tell the difference. Complete waste of money and time. It’s a shame that Toyota provides such a disappointing service. I’m very disappointed with them and the salesperson who insisted on buying the insurance when I bought the car.
As the above review, avoid at any cost, not fit for purpose, they say anything to avoid to carry out a repair for any minor damage claim, my claim was not out of the policy T&C, I gave up and they were not worth the stress, cancelled the policy, so my advice to you don't fall into this trap, avoid, and shame on Toyota to offer customers this insurance with this company.
This company offers "Minor Damage Protection" allegedly covering minor scuffs, dents, etc on your car. I would advise anyone offered this "protection" to be very circumspect about taking it up. Their policy was sold to us for £400 as an "add-on" when we purchased a car from the main Volkswagen dealer. Unfortunately, some months later, when minor damage was incurred, the customer care claims advisor refused to honour our claim, citing conditions which apparently rendered the claim ineligible. The scuff on the car door is clearly "minor damage", being entirely cosmetic. We feel that this should have been covered, and that this insurance product is not fit for purpose.
