I took my 120amp out for the second time and after running my Newport 55 and Garmin Striker 4 for 5 hours from a 100 percent charge it had only 31 percent charge left. Does that sound like the ad of three days of fishing?

Our 12V 120Ah battery stores 1,536Wh of energy, but actual runtime can vary significantly depending on the trolling motor’s power level, fishing conditions, boat load, wind/current, and how continuously the motor is operated.
The “up to 3 days of fishing” example on our product page is based on a typical 55lb trolling motor running at approximately 1/8 power for around 6 hours per day. It is intended as an example based on a specific usage scenario rather than a guaranteed runtime for every fishing setup.
We’d also like to better understand your setup and make sure your battery is performing as expected. Our support team has reached out to you by email to review your usage and help determine whether there is anything that needs to be addressed.

Great value and performance batteries. Used the 12v 140ah battery with a 40lb trolling motor and some lights for 12 hours and still had 76% left. The light weight is also a major plus. Highly recommended 👌

The installation instructions were horrible, didn’t come with all the parts, had to spend several hundred dollars after the fact to get other parts for the system to even work. Was not a “turn key” kit like advertised

Company didn’t give up on trouble…
Company didn’t give up on trouble shooting problem of 2 year old+ 100 ah trolling mother battery refusing to take a charge. Tried several suggestions from them and online people. All recommended about the same safe methods requiring electronic knowledge and different charging procedures.
This battery does not have a blue tooth BMS.
I have 2 of these batteries in my boat and
Was able to compare results of tests between both batteries. Long story short a new charger from Redodo woke up the bad battery … ???? This charger had higher charge output.
Been fishing 4 times as before and no surprises. For you people out there,
Redodo has my vote.

Battery discharge
The shipping was fast and the batteries are packed well. I hooked the batteries up in parallel and battery 1 discharges (down to 52%) while battery 2 remains in standby. I switched the position of the batteries, and the issue followed the battery 1. I removed battery 1 from the circuit and charged it down. I'm going to recharge them to 100% let them set 24 hours then reinstall in parallel to see if the problem still exists.

We appreciate the detailed troubleshooting steps you’ve already taken. When batteries are connected in parallel, differences in initial state of charge, voltage balance, connection resistance, or BMS status can sometimes cause one battery to provide more power than the other temporarily.
The fact that you tested the battery positions and found the issue followed the same battery is helpful information for our technical team. Fully charging both batteries, allowing them to rest, and reconnecting them together is also a good next step.
