Your engineer was extremely helpful and spent a long time explaining our repair situation to us.

The service was prompt, informative and the discussions with the engineer on site were particularly informative. The cost seemed fair for a service which gave us clear advice which provided us with the confidence to make the purchase of the house we liked. Information conveyed included advice on how to reduce possible future risks of subsidence which we appreciated.

Very fast response time to initial request. Initial call was helpful in framing what investigations we might need. After this the site visit of the structural engineer was booked very promptly. At the site visit it became clear we would not need the entire structural engineer’s report (we were assessing a crack for subsidence). So they were flexible in sizing down the project and provided the sufficient commentary for our needs. Professional in all aspect of our interactions - we were impressed.

nice people, and they are fast at responding to an initial query, which is greatly appreciated, but they sometimes forget (it happened twice) to complete specific aspects of booked tasks and i have to chase them for it, which is boring for me and for them, e.g. supplying photos of building inspection jobs that they have done. they failed to supply photos that had been agreed for two structural inspection jobs that they did. these are important when providing evidence proactively to an insurer and for referencing in the event of a claim.

This company is professional and efficient but friendly and approachable. When I contacted it's head office full details of my worries about my property were taken and a wonderful and highly qualified female structural engineer quickly came to inspect it. She climbed into both parts of my attic taking full details and measurements and inspected the gable walls inside and out. Her very thorough report gave clear guidelines for all the remedial structural work required and advised me of specialists who might undertake it. Having got a detailed quotation for this work she willingly looked at it to reassure me that this met all the requirements. My whole experience with Martin Redstone Associates from the response to my initial enquiry to accepting the quotation for the repairs was excellent. I am very happy to recommend them without reservation .

Everything from the initial consult through to the execution of the work was smooth and professional

Martin's communication from the start was very good. Email response time and explanations of the process and how time is charged was great.
On the day Glynn was thorough and answered all my wife's questions.
Report arrived within a week. Had it looked over by a builder I knew who said it was a bit thin but that hopefully means that the structural issues were minimal.
One thing that could have been better was that although a lot of photos were taken, none were included in the report, but we had had a Level 3 survey done as well so we didn't push for this.
