As a follow-up to my initial review

As a follow-up to my initial review, I have had a great experience in the sales process with the agent I selected from Redy.com. She listed the home, generated a lot of buzz and had an all-cash offer at close to the listing price within a week of the listing going live.

I did not have a good experience

I did not have a good experience. The agent paying you to list their property is make believe. They just charge a higher commission. Redy makes the agent pay them so they tax us as a seller. I would just stick with interviewing agents on your own and ask friends and family who they recommend.

There is no cost for sellers to use Redy, and commissions are not increased by the platform. In fact, our model is designed to create a more competitive environment, where agents put forward their best terms in order to earn your business - giving sellers more transparency and choice than the traditional process.

Lauren was very helpful in understanding the process. She was very prompt in returning my calls. I met with two of the three agents who submitted proposals. The one I selected had a strong marketing plan.

We contacted Redy after hearing an Ad…

We contacted Redy after hearing an Ad on the radio. We have now hired a realtor and received the payment. Our listing went live but we haven’t had any showings yet so can’t complete this review until the end.

Worthless!

Worthless!! No value added!!! The only good thing was the 1.5% & $1,800 up front money vs. 3% like it normally is. I will use RedFin or some other flat fee broker to get it on the MLS and do the work myself next time. Both my realtor and the selling agent missed the way I checked what was staying with the house and what I was taking and they missed the way the commission for the selling agent was listed on the contract. It eded up costing me $1500 because the people that I was paying $33,500 were incompetent and not good at their job. Realtors are worthless and 99% of them add no value, they just take, take, take. The broker agent system is out of date and adds very little value. A pilot with 5,000 plus hours of flying has skills and an experience set that very few people have and they make $100 an hour, these idiots made $300+ an hour and missed a mistake I made and I caught a mistake they all missed. You should not get paid unless you add value or something measurable to the transaction, free loaders and leaches are worthless.

That said, we do want to clarify that the goal of Redy is to create transparency and competition among agents, so sellers can compare options, negotiate better terms (like the reduced commission and upfront cash you received), and choose who they feel is the best fit. In your case, you were able to secure 1.5% and $1,800 upfront, which is a strong outcome compared to traditional models - but we absolutely recognize that cost savings should never come at the expense of quality service.

Your feedback highlights an important point: execution matters just as much as economics. We are actively working to continue improving how we support both sellers and agents throughout the process to ensure nothing is missed and expectations are met at every step.

No local agent options provided

We had a good real estate agent however I was disappointed during the interview process that there weren’t any truly local agents provided to us to interview.

Simple and Honest

The process with Redy was outstanding. Just as promised, we got several inquiries into our listing and had an agreement with an agent within a week. Our agent, Toni, did a great job getting the property listed, shown and sold in a very competitive environment. The bonus process was smooth as well- and just as advertised. Extremely satisfied with the Redy experience.
