Nice concept, but basic formula

I really like the sustainable concept and the elegant glass bottle. The design is very beautiful, but the Sensitive Soap formula is basic. Mostly cleansing agents with only glycerin for hydration. It lacks soothing elements normally found in sensitive products (aloe vera, propanediol, hyaluronate, tocopherol). The formula is not luxurious/nourishing, and more than twice the price compared to similar sensitive products with a more advanced formula. So you’re paying for the bottle and the concept, not the ingredients themselves.

Dear Monica,
Thank you for your honest feedback — we’re glad you appreciate the sustainable concept and the design of our glass bottle.

Our powder-to-liquid formula was developed with the goal of reducing both water transport and plastic waste — a key part of our mission to make personal care more conscious.

The Sensitive Soap is formulated with a minimalist, fragrance-free base to suit delicate skin, using gentle cleansing agents and glycerin. That said, we truly value your input and will keep it in mind as we continue to refine our formulas.
Best regards,
The RE·ESSENCE Team
