Nonexistent support; premium doesn't work

I, just like the other reviewer, have upgraded to premium, but have not been offered any referral credits. I've attempted to email their support email as well, but keep getting bounce backs. I have also reached out on LinkedIn to no reply. I really wanted this to work, but seems like they really don't care about the customer experience after they've taken your money.

Website glitch and no customer experience- potential scam?

I signed up to the premium version, and just paid for a yearly subscription after a 7 day free trial. Despite this, the website doesn’t let me send more than one referral per week, saying that I have a free account, and that I should subscribe to premium. I have refreshed the page and gone back into account settings to recheck if I am a premium user, and it says that I am on the settings page.

I thought it was a glitch in the system and reached out to customer support using the email address on their website (support@refer). I’ve sent 2 emails to them till date and both have bounced back saying delivery wasn’t possible because the server doesn’t exist. I also dropped them a note on their LinkedIn page explaining my problem and the fact that their support mailbox currently isn’t accepting any emails, but after days of waiting and chasing, there has still not been any responses on there. I am going to wait for a few more days, and then submit a chargeback request for this, as I’m starting to worry that this is a scam.

Refer Me is a Game-Changer in Your Career Search…

Refer Me is a game-changer and hidden gem that you don't want to miss out on: trust me, the time for this brilliant start-up is now. I will speak on my experience with two items; Behavioral Mock Interview, and Request Referrals.

1.) The Mock Behavioral Interview provides unique and actionable feedback tailored to you as an individual.
- Prompt, professional, and truly worth your time. I've paid for (way) more expensive career "services" that were less effective and given me feedback that I could have generated myself on Chat GPT.
- I feel more confident going into my next interview and have clear, actionable take-aways from the session.
- You will feel comfortable practicing your interviewing skills, the feedback will be conversational and you will also get notes after the session.

2.) Referral system is innovative and rewarding. Just FYI on the concept when reading other reviews: individuals within organizations have incentives to submit referrals, you'll know if you receive one when the company reaches out to you (which is why it's crucial not to apply beforehand). Note that an individual is not *required* to submit a referral to you, this platform is a tool that helps you connect with people who may be willing, yet they are still likely looking at your qualifications to see if you would be a good enough fit/will likely succeed in the role before they refer.
- The platform is easy and intuitive. I like that you can search by company, or look through job postings other referrers have listed.
- The one suggestion I would have is if any "referrers" or individuals working at various organizations have the option to provide feedback ("i.e. "your resume looks great, but unfortunately you do not have x years of experience in xyz, which is a strict requirement for this role" ). Or, maybe if the referrer can update the status on their own if they submitted one (I know that sometimes an organization may not follow-up with a prospective employee even if a referral was submitted).

Overall, I'm super excited to see where this is heading, and I hope that those who have taken the time to actually get to the end of this review don't waste any more time reading and see for themselves :)

Referral in "ASSIGNED" for 4 weeks

Requested a total of 4 referrals, all of them stayed "assigned" for about 4 weeks now???

Shady business and then they have the audacity to ask me 250$ for an hour of resume reviews 😂

Save your time, and your personal info

Not only did both of my requests go unresponsive, but I also received an email from a random coding bootcamp 1 WEEK AFTER I SIGNED UP. They knew everything about my current skills and what companies I requested referrals to via refer.me … THEY CLAIM TO BE FREE ONLY TO SELL YOUR DATA FOR MONEY!!!

Also the “get a referral get an interview” is a lie (to get your data). Referral doesn’t guarantee interview especially these days after companies started cracking down on it. Please don’t fall for this nonsense run by a tiktok cult.

Would give 0 stars if I could - waste of time and discord is filled spammy college kids.
