Not sure if all locations have the same practice, but if Regal does this nation wide, this is very poor customer service….. went to a 4:40 pm showing and the show that I paid very good money for didn’... See more

Regal Cinema in Aiken, SC

Regal Cinema in Aiken, SC is a dump! Have been a regular customer since it opened (maybe 20 years) but haven’t been in about 6 months. Went tonight to see 1917 ( great movie). Bought tickets in advance on Fandango. When we arrived, no one was checking tickets and the box office was closed. A worker told me the box office has been closed for at least 3 months ! In order to check with your digital ticket or to buy a paper ticket, you have to stand in the concession line with everyone else trying to get into one of the 8 theaters. The theater is dirty and smells like arm pits. I’ll never go back

Dangerously high audio levels…

My wife and I tried to see a movie there today. There was a half-hour of previews and advertisements that were played at an average sound level of 85 decibels and peaks of 98 decibels. It was unbearable. When the movie started it actually got louder. We went to talk to the 'manager' and she could have cared less. Permanent hearing loss can start at 85 decibels. Our money was refunded with no indication that people's hearing was any concern to them.

Very disappointed

Very disappointed! We used to come all the time when it was warren theaters. They have changed the menu which is disappointing! Pizza was on the menu and they stated they are out of pizzas when we ordered them. The drink sizes used to be huge and are now very small!!! They got rid of the popcorn seasonings which was one of our favorite things! Staff was not friendly at all! We will not be back!!!

I stopped going to Regal and AMC…

I stopped going to Regal and AMC Cinemas, since they only do assigned seating. Like everyone is going to want the same seat on a Friday or Saturday night of a premiere movie. So it will take about a month to see that movie in the best seats of the house.

The worst experience ever

The worst experience ever, no food at the foodcourt other than pop corn sodas and nachos, 28 minutes in line to get food, not enough staff, 15 minutes in line to get the tickets, the theater is dity.

Please add reservable recliners to every theater - no reason not to.

I've been to movie theaters across the country and the high-end AMC or privately owned theaters always impress. While I will and have had a good experience at Regal, the one thing that bugs me more than anything is the lack of reservable recliner seating. I will pay $2/ticket for better seats. This way I don't have to deal with my restless legs 1/2 way through the movie, and I know ahead of time I have a good spot. With movie sales dwindling you'd think this would be a logical choice for the business.

32 minutes of ads/previews

Recently saw a move a Regal Cinemas and there was 32 minutes of ads and previews before the start of the movie. Will think twice before returning there again.

Professionality

I'd like to start out by saying there are always good workers, and then there are the bad apples. We had been waiting in line for quite some time to get service at the snack bar, one of the line workers had to go in the back to prepare food as the lines got longer and longer. The manager in charge, Josh Greene had come up to the line once, made one thing and then went and hid. A few minutes later I found him on a store phone, paying no mind to the literal crowd that had formed. I walked over and asked if he was going to go get, or to help, the single worker, who I didn't catch them name of, bless her heart. Kayla, who I happen to find is an excellent worker, came out of the kitchen, after making, God knows how many food orders, and immediately went to take our order. She was very polite, faced the situation with a very professional, calm, and focused attitude.

Great company with great employees

Great company with great employees. I visit the one in Great Northern, Ohio and they have the friendliest staff who always work with speed. The theaters are nice and clean with huge screens.

I always have fun going to Regal …

I always have fun going to Regal theaters. And their VIP theaters are so luxe! My favorite way to stretch out and watch an action flick. Wish they had healthier snacks buuuut that's more of a cultural thing, they can't really start selling bananas.
