We went for a family visit and I was immediately taken back to the days I went hiking across France where you find places in the Routiers guide with good quality French food at affordable prices.
You visit this Restaurant for the signature steak and french fries, it is almost all they do but this should not leave you disappointed.
I like my Steak blue, most restaurants can't handle this because they over chill their beef and do not let it reach an appropriate temperature before cooking.
This Restaurant served me a steak that was seared on each side, was hot and yet the middle was blue, the meat itself was of good quality and the signature sauce.
The sauce is like a Bearnaise sauce probably with Tarragon, Shallots, Chervil and a few other choice ingredients (you can find recipes online although the actual ingredients are a secret.
This restaurant is not pretentious they provide a prompt and efficient service but we did not feel rushed. I was able to carry out some people watching and noticed quite a few families with young children.
I will use it for business lunches now and look forward to my next visit.
