Recording my memories for my children and grandchildren has been made so much easier and enjoyable to do through Remento!! I had received a couple of different books to write down my memories, but to be honest, it required so much more effort that I never seemed to write down more than a couple. But with Remento, you just share your memories through talking (either just audio or via video). This has really been a lot of fun to do! And they even publish a book for you at the end to share with your family!! I highly recommend Remento to anyone!! And I would even start now.....why wait until you're older (and struggle with remembering things 😆)!!

Remento provided an excellent way to share many treasured moments of our family's history and special moments. So easy to use and a great way to preserve moments for generations to come! Would recommend this to all grandparents, especially!

I received Remento from my son and daughter in law for my birthday in April of 2025. They gave it to me at a restaurant during my birthday dinner. My immediate reaction was to say that they needed to give it to someone else. I said that I have the worst memory in the family not just because I am older but I have often not remembered things from my childhood even when I was younger. I was serious and felt immediate pressure. I am the only one in my generation left; as my parents, siblings and their spouses along with my own spouse are all deceased. For days I fretted over this weight of responsibility. Then my first prompt question came (once a week my daughter in law chooses one of Remento’s questions to give me an idea for a story to tell). I did have a story for that first prompt. It was so easy to write because I only had to speak my story and Remento wrote it up. I still felt tremendous pressure and still didn’t want to continue but I thought of another story for the prompt that was sent to me the next week. I thought to myself..,well, maybe I can come up with a dozen stories. As the months went on I had the idea to get out the boxes of pictures that had never been put in albums…some going back to a few of our great great grandparents. I sorted them by family, celebrations, traditions etc. I have to admit that it became fun to think of stories that maybe the family members didn’t know regarding other generations …stories about my husband’s family as well as mine. By this time I am excited as I completed more stories with ideas that came to me through the pictures and looking at old movies that were on VHS but are now on DVDs. My new goal was 25 stories for my book. Being able to record the stories verbally and not have to type them out was a game changer…it was so easy. You could even have AI edit your stories or you could edit the written ones yourself, which is what I did. After all my stories were written it was so fun to find pictures that enhanced each story and it was so easy to add them. My gift was for a 200 page book. When I finished all my stories and added my photos, my page count was 400 pages and 52 stories. The maximum book size is 380 pages so I had to edit some of my stories and remove a few pictures. The book was finished almost at the end of my year in April of 2026. My hardback finished book is so beautiful and such a treasure. My family was overwhelmed when I presented them with their copy. My son’s favorite part is that there is a QR Code on the first page of each story and he can click on it to hear my voice telling the story. What started out as a gift I didn’t want ended up with a family treasure to cherish. It is filled with family history that would have been lost, family traditions and heart warming and funny stories. It also contains pictures of past generations that are identified with important details that would be thrown away because no one would know who they were or their importance to our family history. I love the book so much that I presented one to each of my children and one for myself.

I like the fact that my daughters and wife can read my reactions to the questions and understand how much some of these interactions mean to me.

This is an easy way to preserve memories. I did not do it for my father or mother and regret it. No writing required and look forward to the final result.

It was a great way to prompt us to get our rapidly aging grandparents' stories down. It took hours and hours of editing because it's basically AI voice to text translation. AI can only edit so many repetitions and odd name spellings from a 93 year old man's weak voice and long winded stories.
I just wish we would have previewed the book more closely before print to avoid the one sentence on a full page. I could have easily manually edited that specific story to make sure we didn't waste a blank page. It would be nice if Remento could add that to their program. Alerts when there are run on sentences or pages with just a few words on it so the finished book would be more aesthetically pleasing.
Also, the post pricing of $69 per book is pretty steep when we wanted to buy one for all 10 grandchildren. Again, it is just AI voice to text and with a little effort on our part, we probably could have done it without Remento's app. However, we DIDN'T do that extra research and are very grateful to Remento. Their easy app inspired us to preserve our most precious memories from our ailing grandparents.

I still have yet to complete my book. Family circumstances dictated that I needed to request Remento for customer friendly flexibility for a period of time. Happy was, yes, happy to support my special needs with many back and forth prompt communications to clearly explain my options. Remento is intent and focused on making a customer's overall experience always a five-star. Take it from yours truly who was fortunate to manage customer service for three+ decades in my career. Thank you, Remento, Happy.

We used Remento to help my grandfather record his life stories, and the experience was more meaningful than I expected. The prompts are thoughtful and well-paced and they guided him through memories he might never have shared otherwise, from his early life and career to stories about our family that we'd never heard in full.

This was such a great experience for both me and my mom! Beginning with the ease for her to answer the prompts, to me adding questions from the list Remento provides, as well as my own and ending with me editing and adding pictures the final book. The Remento team sends helpful hints throughout the year and provided quick answers to any questions I had. My mom loves her finished book! Thank you Remento for a great experience!

Easy to “tell” your stories from prompts sent and edit them as written.

I have had a number of questions as I went through the process and the support from the Remento staff has been excellent. I'm pretty sure I have been dealing with real people, rather than an automated system that only has answers for questions that don't even closely match what you need help with.

The stories and memories captured in this book will be cherished by my family for years to come. I learned so much I never knew about my Grandpa Ros through this process and sharing the final product with him (and all his hard work as he put it!) the night before my wedding day was a moment I will never forget. I am grateful to Remento for creating this platform to memorialize living legends in such a seamless way.

Got this as a gift for my mom. She liked used the video/audio interface more than having to write everything out. Was a great gift.

I love that I will be able to hear and see my mom after she has gone onto another world. She finds it easy to record the videos and appreciates the prompts to give her ideas on what to share about.

Our Remento books have become a gift to our family’s foundation. As grandparents, my wife and I have both enjoyed our time building our Remento books so our kids and their kids will have a sense of our family’s history. And it's so easy to do! The best part of the experience is recalling all of our favorite memories about our grandparents, parents, sisters, and brothers and how they all played an important role in making our combined family a gift that keeps on giving. This is what Remento has done for us and will continue to do for years to come.

Such an amazing keepsake to preserve memories for not just our lifetime but for generations to come! Love the option to do it by video or audio and the AI revisions of the spoken conversation helps make things more polished with the option to make edits as well.
Our children & grandchildren & great grandchildren who we may never meet will have this to know a piece of us for generations to come. Best gift ever!
