$32,989 and Valuable Time Lost

At a $1,000 event (referred to as the 3-day boot camp), rules were set by RE Mentor. RE Mentor representatives closely monitored the audience to prevent recording. There were inconsistencies and misrepresentations in the content and the marketed programs. I paid for a $31,989 package based on the information presented on a PowerPoint and, later, observed that the services presented (by mouth and PowerPoint) were not specified in the contract nor in any physically provided brochure. I, also, found out that couples received the same package as me for 1/2 the price. This tells me RE Mentor knows the value is gouged.

The content that was promised was not provided in the educational material. RE Mentor did not follow through with the coaching consistency, sponsorship, or the funding. RE Mentor staff and contractors gave the run around at every opportunity possible.

I have spoken with RE Mentor. They teased me and tried to intimidate me for seeking justice.  The representatives were cocky and firm about returning $0.  I filed a complaint with the BBB and filed a dispute through my financial institution. The BBB was mislead about alleged existing records and RE Mentors desire to correct the matter. The claim is closed and now BBB does not accredit RE Mentor.
FYI: Many positive online reviews are provided prematurely & recanted later because working class adults don't have time to return to social platforms to address ongoing problems and chase a broken system that circumvents accountability.

On 06/03/2025, I received another email correspondence from RE Mentor after they refused to resolve my matter to my satisfaction. Although, they were inconsistent in providing content and correspondence before; my BBB complaint awakened them and now they will not cease to send me harassing content that I prefer not to receive. I have informed them of this. Yet, it's apparent they want to force feed me enough cheap content until they have reached their believed $31k worth of cheap content.

A satisfactory solution would be a full refund from RE Mentor, the RE Mentor company (and associated companies/DBAs) dissolved, and ban from operating in the U.S.

Reply from RE Mentor

This reviewer has now posted five separate negative reviews about a single purchase. The issue is not a lack of services; it is that they continue to request a full refund outside of the refund policy they agreed to when enrolling.

While we understand their frustration, here are clarifications on the points they raise:

– Event rules: Our no-recording policy is standard in the industry and protects both proprietary content and attendee privacy.

– Contracts and services: Every client signs a written agreement before purchasing, which clearly outlines the services included and the refund terms.

– Participation for two people: Enrollment in our coaching programs includes either a spouse or a business partner at no extra cost. This policy reflects the reality that families and partners often share expenses and make investment decisions together, and we want both to have full access to the same training and support.

– Educational content and coaching: Our curriculum focuses on multifamily and commercial real estate investing and is updated regularly to reflect current market conditions. Coaching is delivered through structured sessions, with scheduling designed to accommodate active participation and real-world investing timelines.

– Educational resources: Ongoing emails and materials are included in the program to provide continued support and value. If a client prefers not to receive them, they can opt out at any time.

We know real estate investing takes commitment and persistence, and while not every client will be satisfied, most of our students have positive experiences and many go on to build successful portfolios. This company is scamming people

I attended their free info class. Then signed up for a 3 day workshop for $1000. I was told I would be able to attend this and learn everything I need to know to walk out and get in my 1st deal.

They threw up a ton of info which is great, but in between each segment, it was like little digs that suggest we can't do it alone. So I was surprised to find on day two that for a whooping $40k they would coach me and my husband on how to do get our first deal.
We literally paid $1000 to get a 3 day sales pitch on their coaching program. I asked for a refund via email as it states in my contract. I still have not received it, nor will anyone answer the various numbers listed for the company. The one person who replied to my email, keeps saying "you should have received an email" but I have not received any emails with my refund.

I too think this is a scam. If I had known there was a $40k coaching program, I would have said no at the gate.

They stayed in contact when they thought they could get more money out of me and as soon as I ask for a refund... all calls go to their voice-mail.

Attended the free seminar and the weekend bootcamp

Attended the free seminar and the weekend bootcamp. Brian was hilarious and awesome and the group I was with were positive and pleasant to be around. A sponsor Ryan was there and was super helpful. Jeanie at the office was very supportive. Definitely have a few suggestions and critiques but David clearly cares about helping his students. It was a good time overall.

Immersion-Indianapolis,

Great experience!! Instructors had very in-depth knowledge and totally equipped with practical information that you will use in the field. I definitely walked away with a greater sense of the magnitude of the undertaking as an underwriter and asset manager but glad to have people so knowledgeable in the industry to help guide you. Don't skip this step or experience!!!

The class was a most excellent and learned experience. Fereydoon
was a wonderful, most engaging instructor. He didn’t just teach the information, he ensured that all of us in the class had a firm understanding of the material, even offering to come early or stay late to offer individualized or small group instruction. It’s one of the best classes I’ve ever attended and I completed the class with confidence that I can now successfully underwrite a property.
