A trusted partner
From initial contact through the survey to the thorough explanation of the recommendation and what to expect, and on to an installation of PV panels, battery, and heat pump involving three or four different teams of contractors, Renewafuel were excellent at every touch point. Any issues that arose were handled without fuss and with full consultation, and the whole process was much quicker than I expected. Can thoroughly recommend Renewafuel as a trusted partner to guide you through the process of modernising your home.

Renewafuel delivered a top class heat pump and solar installation with truly exceptional service from start to finish
I recently had a complete home energy upgrade carried out by Renewafuel , including an air source heat pump , new cylinder, new radiators throughout, 10 solar panels, 3x 5kw batteries and an 8.8 kw inverter system with scaffolding provided by Beatties ( courtesy Renewafuel ).
The whole experience from start to finish has been outstanding. Every member of the team- heating engineers, electricians, plumbers and solar installers were professional, courteous and clearly took a pride in their work. They worked efficiently, kept everything tidy and always took time to answer questions and explain things clearly. On the rare occasion something didn’t go to plan it was dealt with quickly and professionally without any hassle.
A special mention goes to Kelly , Dave , Ryan, Alan and Dean who between them oversaw the entire project brilliantly.
Their combined organisation, communication and genuine care made the whole process easy and stress free . Beatties did an excellent job with the scaffolding safe prompt and reliable.
On top of the service the quality of the equipment they specified and installed has really impressed me . They fitted a Mitsubishi Ecodan 11.2 kw R32 air source heat pump, 3x5kw Sunsynk batteries with an 8.8 kw Sunsynk inverter and 10 Aiko 465w high efficiency solar panels and new Stellrad K2 radiators throughout giving me a serious future- proof system with premium modern kit.
It is rare to find a company where technical expertise, customer service and attention to detail all come together so well . Renewafuel Home Innovations and everyone involved have been exceptional and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them whole heartedly to anyone seeking similar works to be undertaken and first class service.

Great customer service.
From my initial enquiry for an air source heat pump until the day that it was fitted, the communication was excellent. The actual installation went very smoothly. The team worked extremely tightly and kept me informed at all times of what was happening. After installation there are a couple of very minor problems but these were dealt with professionalism. During the process all members of the team made themselves available and Ryan was always available to help if I had a query and his workmanship excellent.

I have had a few years experience with this company and overall I trust them to do what they do to an excellent technical quality.
Their weakness tends to be in communication where this can fall down, but once they get to you their installers and Tech team are excellent.
Their phone responses are friendly and supportive but do not always close the loop so that you have to chase them when an engineer doesn't attend when booked, so your plans for the day can be thrown.

I had my Ecodan ASHP installed end of October 2025, the pre sales service was excellent, everything was explained/presented in a clear & concise manner, the survey & output documents were 1st class, installation was seamless, Ryan & team were extremely professional & treated our home with the utmost respect and left everything clean & tidy, the after sales experience has also been excellent, with any snagging or issues/questions I had they were resolved in a timely manner & nothing was too much trouble, I would highly recommend Renewafuel for any installations

Straightforward planning
Straightforward planning, execution and follow up.
we did have an issue with a faulty valve but this was sorted out and replaced. This was due to faulty parts rather than the work done by Renewafuel.
we now have lower fuel bills and a lovely warm home.

Disappointed with the service
I had a air source heatpump installed in November 2025 I should have known things wouldn't run smoothly when the sub contractor that renewafuel used thought he knew better than the design team and was going to install the equipment in a area that wasn't sufficient to allow air flow but I point blank refused as I remembered what the surveyor said ( accordingly this was renewafuels no 1 installer ). When the installation was complete I had a visit from a renewafuel representative who noticed a few valves and taps that hadn't been fitted the installer had to return to put this right , also they forgot to put a blanking cover over the hole in the wall from my original boiler which they had removed and forgot to clip the pipework from the plumbing in the attic down to the radiators only one floor as we live in a bungalow ( as already mentioned no 1 installer ). Also there were a couple of things that were not correct and renewafuel said they would sort them. As of today these are still outstanding as when they are supposed to come they cancel and when you text them or email them they don't reply. This is one review I didn't want to leave but after nearly 3 months I feel I dont have a choice.
Would i recommend renewafuel to anybody I'm afraid the answer is "NO"
A 3 day install turns into 3 months and continuing.
It looks like all they are interested in is getting the £7500 government grant and whatever your contribution is ( in our case over £6500 ).

Having had the reply from renewafuel below I contacted them yet again I gave them the job number ect to prove it was a review about a genuine install and that's as far as it went no contact from renewafuel whatsoever.
I did manage to contact the complaints dept and got a email back saying they would look into the matter again, after 2/3 weeks nothing. I did get the email address of the CEO Kelly and sent her a email and got the reply that someone would be at my address02/04/26 this never happened, another email 07/04/26 and the promise of a phone call before 10:00 the next day but yet again this didn't transpire it seems as though what I said in the original review is correct "give us your money - thank you and don't bother contacting us as we have what we want.
What riles me more than anything is the system works as well as we would like but the issues that are outstanding were highlighted by renewafuels own technician and now in my eyes it's down to principle

Great Experience with Aircon & Battery Installation
We recently had both a battery system installed to help reduce our electrical costs and an air conditioning unit fitted, and we are absolutely delighted with both.
The installations have genuinely improved our quality of life at home. The air conditioning unit is extremely quiet, and throughout the winter our home has been wonderfully warm and comfortable. We’re looking forward to seeing how it performs in the summer, but we’re confident it will do an excellent job cooling the house.
There were a few hiccups during the air conditioning installation, but the team at Renewafuel were incredibly proactive and resolved everything promptly and professionally. The installation itself was executed to perfection, and both the interior and exterior finishes are neat, tidy, and completed to a very high standard.
We would highly recommend their services.

My partner purchased an air source heat pump for our home four years ago through Renewafuel, and it has since become clear that we were seriously mis-sold the system.
Independent assessment has confirmed the unit installed is oversized for the property, the primary pipework was undersized, and the overall installation was poorly designed. As a result, we are now paying a qualified plumber to rectify issues that should never have existed in the first place.
The installer’s attitude at the time was rude and unapproachable, which in hindsight reflects the standard of workmanship carried out. Renewafuel’s aftercare has been virtually non-existent, leaving us with no option but to fund corrective works ourselves.
Having since read numerous similar reviews, it appears this is not an isolated experience but a recurring issue. I would strongly advise anyone considering Renewafuel to do thorough independent checks before proceeding.

As such, we would ask that any queries or concerns regarding the specification, workmanship, or performance of the installation are directed to the relevant contracting entity, who will be best placed to review the matter.
We also note that multiple reviews have been submitted relating to this installation. Given the nature of the claims being made, these comments are currently being reviewed internally and we are seeking appropriate legal advice in relation to the statements published.

From the initial survey to the final commissioning, the entire process was handled with total professionalism.
The Quote & Survey Unlike some other companies, Renewafuel didn't give me a "one-size-fits-all" pitch. Their surveyor was thorough, explaining exactly how the system would work in my specific property and what kind of efficiency I could expect.
Installation Day The installation team arrived exactly when they said they would. They were incredibly respectful of the house, used dust sheets everywhere, and kept me updated on their progress. For a job this size, I expected more disruption, but they made it look easy and left the place spotless.
Aftercare What really impressed me was the handover. They didn't just fit the unit and leave; they took the time to show me how to use the controls and ensured I was comfortable with the new settings before heading off.

Brilliant service from start to finish. I spoke to a few different companies before making my decision, but it really came down to the quality of the products they use — far superior to what competitors were offering.
