Useless, disorganised company

To cut a long story short (ish), I ordered tiles last Monday that were showing as in stock online, I was told they were dispatched the following day via email, 3 days then passed with no delivery or tracking method of any means, chased up and was told I would be updated as soon as possible, 2 more days passed without any communication at which point I had to chase up again via phone call to be told it would be investigated again, this time by someone else as previous staff member was off ill, I then followed up again for another answer after I received no further communication to be told they had a stock issue however replacements had been ordered and would be receiving more stock the following morning and they would be packed and dispatched same day and I would be notified as soon as they had more info, another day passed with no communication at which point I was told the tiles didn’t turn up for some reason or other and would not be available until the following week. A completely disorganised company who couldn’t care less if they cause delays to your job by making empty promises about receiving stock or even providing you with an update without having to follow it up yourself over and over. Don’t waste your time.. had I been notified from the start that they didn’t have stock I could have sourced tiles from elsewhere, however instead they provide a complete lack of communication and then lead you on, with the director Dan at one point telling me that as soon as the tiles were in on the following morning he would jump in his car and hand deliver them, the only thing I can compliment the company on is the speed of refund as Dan offered to send the money back next day, however I would have preferred the refund a week earlier when they knew they didn’t have stock.
