Sylvia and Glory did an outstanding job and even went out of their way to assist my mom even though it wasn't part of the services. I'm amazed as I've been having different cleaners come in and out but I must say Rent-A-Cleaner services are over the top and excellent communication skills from the staff. Thank you Rent-A-Cleaner. Will make sure to tell my friends and family about this company.

TO AVOID ABSOLUTELY
These people are scammers, thieves.
They send their lady, they stayed half on the time, didn’t tied up anything barely cleaned the floor. They STOLE AirPods and they broke a cupboard. When you call their management, they call you liar and won’t assume any responsibility.
Worst experience ever with professional cleaning.

We have only just started using this service but have found it great, and the cleaning is fantastic. We have very high standards and they have cleaned our flat beautifully.
Really easy to set up, efficient and professional.

Very poor service!! Very poor customer service! They are not honest.

Recently started to use this cleaner service and they were fantastic! They went above and beyond and I have now booked them for regular service.

Recently booked this company for a one off clean with the view to book a regular clean if the Service standards were good.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed with this company for many reasons:
1. They left the property once they had finished and did not lock the door and property
2. The standard of cleaning in places was very poor, picture frames not dusted, floor not vacuumed well, kitchen surfaces very poor, almost not done.
3. They broke two things in the bathroom, the shower screen and bath plug.
4.The after service is disgraceful, I was shouted at on the phone and then told I had said the clean was good and they didn’t know what the problem was. I at no point said the clean was good.
5. Paid for 4hrs and they stayed for 3. The cleaners were booked for a deep clean between 8am - midday. They left at 11am.
6. They broke the handle to our wine fridge.
7. Doors and skirting boards not even wiped and this was booked as a deep clean.

I could go on but I really don’t want to waste anymore of my time.

I was offered a 50% refund for the clean, which I rejected and asked for close to 85% refund to cover the costs of repairs and missing items. This was rejected and they asked me to stop bullying them. A shambles of a company with poor standards and even worse aftercare.

Add to this when I asked for their insurance details to make a claim they denied these and no wont respond.

My next course of action is to notify the police of missing items as well as making a claim in court for the damage and missing items likely as a result of not locking the apartment door and leaving it open.

In my opinion…. Stay away from this company. It will cost you more than you think.

Overall the clean was ok although I had to ask them to get marks of the skirting board, go over the bathroom floor and dust the top of the cupboards. Also in one of the bathrooms they used an incorrect product on my radiator so it left residue which I had to get off and they also moved my sofa to clean (great!) but then didn’t but it back to the right place.

I would have given 3/5 for the above but sadly the management I spoke to on the phone has also let this company down. One of the cleaners innocently broke my shower head of which I had to purchase a new one, management took no responsibility for this and said they’d speak to the cleaner again and send a company out to try and repair it but after my telephone call with them I never heard from them again. I won’t be using their services in future.

They are so helpful nothing is too much of a hassle! The rent-a-cleaner team are more than happy to go above and beyond!!!

Heard about this cleaning service through a friend a all I can say is that it exceeded my expectations!! Nobody can clean your home like you do but all I can say is wow.
Cecile is all I need in my life

I’ve used Rent-a-cleaner for three years now and they are absolutely amazing- by far the best cleaning service out there (and trust me I’ve used a few). Cecile and the team are so accommodating and will often go out of their way to do extra bits. Definitely a ten star business but seen as I can only give five stars then five golden stars it is!

I would have given zero or negative stars but sadly 1 star is the worst rating possible.

Avoid rent-a-cleaner like the plague.

On their website they claim that they are professional, friendly and reliable. In practice, they are anything but.

Not Professional: they used chemical cleaning agents on surfaces that require care, and damaged several items in our house. Despite our calls and photo evidence, they refused to accept any responsibility. In fact they were very rude. Fyi this was a brand new house so they were the only ones who could have caused the damage.

Not Friendly: they were rude in person and in writing.

Not reliable: basically always late and in a rush.

Bonus: they charge triple the price of most cleaners.

I have lived in 4 countries over the past few decades, and worked with many cleaners in my personal and professional life. I can say categorically that rent-a-cleaner was the worst.

They made an appointment which we had to work around and make sure that someone is home despite the fact it was a bank holiday. Yet somehow two of their employees were sick all of a sudden and we were only told the evening before. They then offered to accommodate any alternative date requested, and when we called back to request a new date, they let us down again. Totally unprofessional
