This is my second time moving with Rent a Room, and the team has been fantastic! Cassie was super helpful during my move, addressing all my questions and concerns – made the process stress-free. Andy was friendly and thorough during the room viewing. Matt sorted out maintenance issues quickly at my last room. Top service all round! 😊

My experience was absolutely incredible, I arranged a viewing for a property and went to view the next day. I fell in love with this house, everything was quick hassle free and if it wasn’t for the amazing Carrie I wouldn’t have mine and children’s forever home.
Within 4 days of viewing this house I had the keys and was moving moving in.

Lovely friendly team who are always there to answer any questions

Carrie made the whole process so easy, showing me round different houses and finding me an appropriate one based on what I was asking for. She went out of her way to set in a flexible move in date. She also dealt with any maintenance issues straight away.

What a great team at Rent a room.
Carrie was most helpful, as was the rest off the tea. I was offered Tea or coffee on both occasions. I had trouble paying my reposit due to a glitch in the system, nothing was to much trouble. I found the room to be spotless when I moved in. I was shown the community room as well.
I would highly recommend all the team for a great experience

Great support from Carrie and Andy, managed to move in the next week. Definitely recommend to anyone moving out for the first time.

Andy and Carrie were really helpful with the whole process of viewing, setting up the contract and moving in to a new place. I would highly recommend Rent A Room to anyone moving houses or looking for a new place to stay.

I found myself in a really bad position and needing a home quickly, I found Carrie at Rent a room and the experience from start to finish was amazing. I had a few financial issues, but carrie advised if I was open and honest she would help me. And help me she did. Everything was straight forward, quick and I almost didn’t believe I had secured a place as quick as I did. Not only that but as I was a long way from the town - videos , pictures and information was sent without any question and hesitation. Nothing too much trouble and an absolutely lovely woman as well. Thank you Carrie & Team Rent a Room, you helped me get myself back on track. Eternally recommended

Really great process from start to finish.

You go and view your property and if you like it you can secure it straight away for a small fee, which comes off your first months rent - Ideal and very streamlined process from viewing to moving in.

The rooms are nicely decorated and the properties are well looked after with everything you need.

Sofas, armchairs, dining room tables and beds. Fridge freezer, 2 ring hob with extractor for my room.

Downstairs in the kitchen washing machine, tumble drier, kettles, multiple new fridge freezers.

Everyone in the company is really down to earth and friendly. I'd recommend them to anybody in the current rental market, so much easier and better than estate agents and landlords.

Carrie was excellent from start to finish, with myself moving, Carrie gave me a piece of mind throughout the process of moving, and put myself at ease, Carrie is very kind and caring, I would 100% recommend Carrie with your future move.

I'll Never rent from rent a room again i rented a room from them and the room had a old smelly carpet uncomfortable bed a sofa was falling apart the hole house needs refurbishing so i move out now charged me money for a room was already in a poor state when moved in rent a room just scammers as mentioned the room i moved in 2 was in poor conditions they trying scam me out of £1.241 not way they getting that me and my partner will be taking rent a room to court who would stand with us don't rent from this agency they'll con you out of money that not owed to them

Very good the room is excellent nice and warm

Son moved out and given costs of charges to be taken out of deposit more or less giving him a pittance back.
Few marks on walls from stick on hooks they are charging for a full room repaint. We have offered to repaint ourselves. Room was spotless, more than we can say when he moved in but being charged for a cleaner...you get the drift!!
Communal kitchen was constantly filthy. Whole place stunk of weed.
