Disappointed
I have been on rent hunter for a while now and no luck. The most irritating part about it is that you pay €30 for Renthunter but then the adds take you to another website/agency that you most likely will have to pay again before viewing.
I personally am quiet disappointed with the outcome of renthunter. I wouldn't recommend it

Not really useful
I am afraid I cannot say I could benefit from a paid subscription to RentHunter. In fact, by the time I received the messages referring to vacant rooms/studies, they were already gone. I had to go through a realtor directly and pay another subscription, to rent a room for my son.

Please, stay aware of scammers like them... they are everywhere

Company promotes fake listings from…
Company promotes fake listings from Facebook marketplace. Saw multiple listings in the den Haag area, and when I went to message the landlord, I noticed that the same exact listing was up from a completely different person with a different price. The “landlord” also mentions to send an email, but there is no email listed on any of the pages where the living space is listed. just like everyone else with struggles of finding a place to stay, it’s tougher having to deal with scammers on top of that, please just helppp!!!

Everything is just …catastrophic
Everything is just …catastrophic ! One you payed you can have acces to rental ads that are already rented out, that send you to another website for wich you have to pay and than to an other one again. Sometimes you have to explain 3-4 times your profile to receive just nothing, etc …A lot of the ads are also illegal and discriminatory ( minimum age, nationality and gender parameters !!), Dutch boy only, no under 23 years, Natif Dutch speakers only etc …Maastricht market is very tense, it’s the jungle here, not good

I paid the Renthunter membership to be…
I paid the Renthunter membership to be able to message to the other PAID websites/ not owners directly. Combined with the PAID viewings of the rooms we had selected, that was a very expensive service at the end. On top of that, the big disappointment was to see that the announcements on Renthunter contained some false information which differed from the owners or real estate agencies sites. In my case, I discovered that the room we have applied for is not furnished versus what the Renthunter suggested.

Not the best experience
Not the best experience. Most of the apartments that I get notification for are already rented, even though I view the notifications daily. This platform is supposed to make more efficient the search, and with the prompt for the landlords it works, but only if the unit is available.

The service does not meet my expectations
Unfortunately the service does not meet my expectations as most of the rental offers I am interested in are coming from paid websites where you need to subscribe and pay additional fees in order to contact landlords.
Renthunter team was very reactive to reply to my request though and I got the refund back.

Not convenient
Half the time the link to get to the advertisement didn't work, and even when it did I couldn't contact the landlord unless I had a subscription to the site on which the room is listed, which was kamernet 90% of the time.
So unless you want to pay money to get notifications about places becoming available on sites you payed for already, I do not recommend RentHunter.
