This is a tough review to write. If we were just taking about the clothes themselves- this company earns 5 stars. Clothes are great quality and they have great brands. But then there’s the shipping… which would earn 1 star. They advertise 2 day shipping- but for the vast majority of my orders they used USPS which regularly took more than a week to arrive. In my last two orders (and by last I mean that I’ve now terminated the subscription) shipping took MORE THAN TWO WEEKS. They still could have earned 5 stars simply by pro-rating my subscription fee to account for the use lost by the slow shipping- but their customer service effort capped out at asking me whether I had called USPS. I was disappointed to cancel- but couldn’t afford to only get 1/2 a month’s use out of the fee.

The clothes are great and I really like being able to try new outfits in this way. The only drawback was that the package required a signature and since I work during the day, the package was delayed by several days because I wasn't home to sign until finally the driver delivered it to a UPS pickup location and I had to go pick it up.

Customer service is really good. I just wish they had more of the items available in popular sizes.

Out of the 600 pieces of clothing available, only ~50 are in stock. Very small selection.

Also had an experience where they missed a delivery for a month, and instead of refunding me, they would only push my next payment date. Which results in 1 less shipment.

Email communication was helpful and thorough as it relates to my first exchange

All of the pieces I’ve rented have been good quality but the lack of size diversity is limiting. I’m 5’5, 140lbs and non-binary. I may not be your typical customer but Thred offers such a cool opportunity to play with different shapes and fits of clothing and the lack of size diversity is disappointing. I know this issue is not exclusive to Thred but I hope that y’all will include a greater range of sizes (small and large) as you grow your inventory. Additionally, the lack of measurements/a fit chart for the garments presents an added hurdle when I’m trying to figure out if a piece will fit. I do a lot of googling of the specific garment and sometimes if they are out of stock the measurements are even harder to find. Including fit information with the garment would make the process of shopping a lot more seamless. Thanks for existing, and for listening.

I look forward to my delivery every month. Love the brands and eclectic selection. In an age where customer service is weak to non existent, threds is excellent.

Helpful customer support, high quality products. Would be 5 stars but the majority of products are always out of stock.

Great customer service. They have a lot of nice pieces to choose from that fit my style while letting me experiment a bit. Had some delays in shipping times when I first started but that seems to have improved after the holiday season. Jun is the best!

It’s a good service with a lot of stylish clothes. The hard part is that 75-80% of the clothes my size are out of stock. The two months I’ve been a subscriber I’ve been left with a small amount of clothes to pick from.

USPS routinely delivers my clothes over a week late. Most of the clothes are usually sold out.

That being said I do like the service and will continue using it, I'm sure these are things you're working through.

Great selection of clothes! Super helpful customer service professionals during troubleshooting. Always receive new order quick and it’s awesome to have a great variety of clothing to select from.

I like the clothing options, the quality of the pieces I've received so far as well as the fast shipping.

Wish list:
* the cost to purchase listed on the website (Scotch Select and Vince Unfold both have this feature)
* the notify me when available feature definitely does not work
* It would be nice if the next order could be shipped right away rather than waiting until the current return starts tracking. I get why you ask for this, however, this causes at least one if not two days of delay on the next order shipping which means I'm without clothes for ~5 days. Also, the clothes I have saved are typically not available very long so it would be nice to place that order as soon as something opens up before it's too late. Both Scotch Select and Vince Unfold allow customers to have their next rental shipped before returning their current rental (I thin there's like a 5 day window in which they have to return).
* I realize I'm probably picking the most popular items in the most popular size but so many of the items are unavailable. For example; I have 50 items in my closet right now and only 2 are available. I don't know if that's just a matter of inventory but it's certainly a limitation that prevents me from increasing my subscription from 3 items to more.
*My biggest wish, and this has not been the case for Scotch Select or Vince Unfold either so I'm guessing there's a reason, is to be able to hold onto individual items for longer rather than having to return all items at a time. Sometimes I really like one or two of my items and I'd keep them longer but the third item I don't like or doesn't fit so it gets no use. Again, I realize there's probably a reason you don't offer that but as a customer desiring that functionality, I would 100% be willing to pay more for that feature.

Overall, compared to Scotch Select and Vince Unfold; Rent with Thred has been my favorite service so far. I think your selection is better and I appreciate the faster shipping.

The clothes are great, shipping was fast, came in recyclable packaging. What else can you ask for!

Great company! Clothes are always high quality and easy to wear. I wish they had an app though!

I got my first shipment a week late because it was delivered to the wrong house, but that was a USPS error. I wish there was a larger selection of tops in xs as well as more frequent availability of smaller sizes in general.

The customer service is top notch.

Thread was proactive about letting me know if an item was unavailable and even offered to send me an additional item to make up for the fact that a jacket I wanted was still in the cleaners.

This is a great service, and I plan on being a long-time subscriber!
