Excellent service from ‘repair and maintain’
Same day service to replace the motor on my washing machine. Friendly and helpful service from Ben, who explained the options and went through the whole process with me.
Highly recommended.

It was a simple repair ,but done quick and efficient,so far so good,engineer had little english but he was polite

Shane an independent contracted repairman came out to fix my dishwasher. Initially the original part didn't work, thus rearranged with a new part. All fixed, nice and swift. Shane was very friendly, and professional especially related to COVID protocols.

These guys are very nice and polite. However, since they don't actually have their own workforce to do the work, they rely on contractor companies to come and do the job. Agreed and paid the £129 plus £7.95 monthly cover.
Since they don't work on weekends, they arranged for a Tuesday. The gentleman from a company called dualfix came ahead of time, but unfortunately the washing machine failed to repeat the fault. After some investigation, he left without having to repair anything. So, when we used the mashing right after he left, it broke down (Tripps the whole flat). Called to arrange a revisit with Dualfix, an irritating lady insisted that I send her proof of the fault. Anyhow, I decided to call the insurer and they arranged for another visit with a different company as the first company couldn't make it for another week.... Had I known all this complication, I would not have signed up with this guys. Shane, because I really thought this was an amazing deal, maybe too good.
UPDATE: Changed to 5*. It turned out that this worked out to my advantage. When the first company came to take a look and he could find a fault, I would have been out of pocket for the call out. But, because I had arranged this with Repair and Maintain via the Sprig Plans cover, when the washing machine broke down at the end of the cycle, these guys contacted the same comapny to return, but since they didn't have availability for next five days, these guys were able to send me another man from a different company. This guy immediately checked and knew what the issue was, he went back to his van, got the part and sorted everything out within 45minutes. In hindsite, maybe I should have been a little patient as they'd told me someone will be attending between 12 and 6pm and the guy turned up just pat 6pm. All in all, I would highly recommend Repair and Maintain to fix your washing machine and in the long run, I believe I got a great deal too.

I was really happy with the whole process. Good value for money and very professional. My washer could not be repaired, so they sorted a new one at very good price.

Really bad experience with this company! My washing machine was leaking so I called this company and was told there was a fixed fee of £129 plus for £7.95 a month for 12 months my washing machine would be covered for any further breakdowns. I paid the money and told an engineer would contact me. I did not hear from an engineer that day so I phoned the next day and was told that they would chase it up.
A few hours later the engineer phoned and asked the problem and said he would come in two days. He arrived with two new parts - he fitted the one part which was housing for the dispenser drawer but said the seal around the door was fine but as he had a new one did I want it fitted for extra cost. I refused this and he said the washing machine was now fine and left. I consequently did a wash and once more the washing machine leaked water everywhere.
Once more I phoned the company and told them and the engineer contacted me and said he would come the next day. He turned up the next morning and said this time that one of the hoses had come loose and fixed it with plastic tie clips. He left and once more I put on a wash and no surprise the washing machine leaked again!! By this time I had had enough and e;mailed the company and requested a refund. They said this was not possible and they would send the engineer out to me again. I refused this and said I would put a negative review on trustpilot. As soon as this was mentioned they phoned me and said they were offering for the machine to be fixed but were unable to send out a different engineer. In the end they offered £49 refund as the parts used were £85.
I contacted a different repair company - a local firm The engineer attended and I explained the problem. He found what was causing the leak straight away - it was a blocked vent hose. In his opinion he said it is very rare that the housing units have to be replaced and they cost about £23 (nothing like the £85 I had been charged). I am very disappointed that I paid over £200 to this company and after a week still had a washing machine that wasn't working!!
I e mailed them once more explaining what the last engineer had said and attached photos of the blocked vent hose but had no response at all!
I would definitely NOT recommend this company to anyone and have informed all my friends and family to stay away from them. Not impressed!

Very helpful engineer he explained everything he was going to do to fault find after finding the fault ( face mask ) chewed up he rebuilt the machine and ensured all was in working condition before leaving good job all round

Booked repair for my integrated dishwasher on Tuesday. Engineer had it back up and running by Wednesday evening. Couldn’t be more chuffed with the service I have received and will definitely know where to go if I have any future problems.

Made an enquiry at 10am and had our leaking washing machine sorted by 1:30! Engineer was very informative and helpful, faultless service.

Fast, efficient and friendly service. Engineer arrived next day to repair my washing machine. A very happy satisfied customer.

Had a suspected leak on the washing machine which miraculously disappeared when the engineer arrived. He did spend some time inspecting the machine. As he suspected a full wash would show up any problems he called me in the evening to make sure all was ok.

Hotpoint washer went down on monday, was repaired and fully working by tuesday evening. Fast service one set price and no hidden costs. Engineer was professional and adhered to covid measures. Will definitely use again.
