Poor website and returns policy
I ordered ballet pumps for my daughter. Postage was £6 which I thought was steep for something costing £40 but went ahead and got the size she usually wears in her usual ballet pump brand. The pumps arrived in a box that was partly ripped apart, and didn't have a 'luxury' feel I expected (other than the little note they enclose in an envelope). The shoes were tiny for the size, so I tried to return them. The so-called 'prepaid' return label is misleading, as the cost is deducted from your refund, so you are actually paying for it. So, buying an item and returning it costs £12 in postage (the pumps only cost £40). Plus, they only use DHL and the nearest store to me is 20 miles away. It's prob not worth my while returning them as it's quite a trek out of my way and hassle. I will definitely not buy from this store online again. When buying shoes online where you can't try them on first, this is frustrating and I would expect an expensively priced brand like this to offer free returns, and alternative postage options (and an exchange option too ) so customers can easily return items that are not the correct size.
