Awful customer service - AVOID
I placed my order on the website and had arranged for collection at my chosen store. The process completed, and I was shown my order number. However, I noticed the order was not getting processed so phoned the helpline for advice.
They were no use and simply directed me the the pick-up store I had selected. When I made contact directly with the store they told me that they don't even deal with ReplaceMyPlates, and could not help with the order.
ReplaceMyPlates did not respond when I wrote to them, and the website no loger recognises my order number. Awful customer service, and no apology. AVOID.

Good Customer Service
I selected a collection point which replacemyplates states opens on Sunday mornings on their website. I drove over there to find that the collection point was closed. A complete waste of my time & very frustrating. However I have to say that the customer service I received after reporting this was really excellent & a very nice company to deal with. Hence the rating I have given.

Doesn’t do what it says on the tin
I ordered a single rear motorcycle plate and a pair of car plates, each with the EU symbol and GB and found the online ordering process simple ( that would get 5 stars ).
I received my confirmation email advising the plate makers address details/order number etc. no problems thus far.
I went to collect my plates ( no more than 10-15 minutes wait went the website blurb ) to be advised that
1) My plates were not there
2) They’d only been open three months and didn’t realise they were doing that yet 🤷♂️
3) They don’t have the facility to do motorcycle plates anyway
4) They can do the car ones without the EU/GB logos.
The matter was resolved, eventually, in a fashion. The guy photographed my V5’s and photo ID and forwarded them to their other branch, whereby the other branch will process the plates and send them via recorded delivery.
The guy was apologetic and I’ve no axe to grind there..The service recovery was very good, however I drove a 36 mile round trip to collect the plates ( the nearest maker of motorcycle plates to my postcode ) they weren’t available and now my motorbike sits impotently in the garage unable to be used. I could have ordered them elsewhere online for home delivery, not had to waste the time, effort and money involved to little effect.
To cap it all I get a computer generated email advising that my order has been collected (it hasn’t , read the tale of woe above ) and would I like to give a trustpilot rating 🤷♂️
Let’s hope the quality of the plates when they arrive are satisfactory otherwise there will be one unhappy bunny going back to the supplying motor factor with a less than agreeable attitude.

We understand the need to get your plates sorted as quickly as possible and having them ready-made for when you arrive would be most convenient.
Unfortunately DVLA rules mean that all Collection Points must record your documents before they can make the plates. This keeps the service legal and when RNPS outlets always record documents, it prevents number plates being cloned.
However, we recognise the need to get your plates quickly and are currently looking at ways to speed up recording of documentation (while staying within DVLA guidelines) so you can get the plates as quickly as possible. Stay tuned for updates to the website very soon!
