excellent customer services
Had an issue with proseal fitting correctly and after speaking to their customer service have agreed to replace (at no cost) with an older more suitable (for me) product. One of the best and prompt customer services available I have encountered.

Fantastic
Fantastic, quick and friendly customer service; the team are very accommodating and helpful. I initially bought my ultralight mask as I live in West Africa half the year and the city pollution was upsetting my lungs, but it has since been repurposed in COVID times. It has held up for 2 years so far and is comfortable for extended daily use and I've gotten loads of positive comments. I did add the mask strap and pro-seal which helped with fit and comfort. Highly recommend Respro masks!

Poor customer service, not understanding their legal obligations.
The website says "free shipping worldwide" but only when you receive the confirmation does it say that they won't pay any taxes. They could have added this single line to their website shipping information page, but choose not to do so (I've checked!).
Also, they try to take a restocking fee when an unopened item is returned. This is illegal under UK distance selling regulations (as proven by the success of a chargeback claim via my credit card supplier).
They seem to also have a blame culture, judging by the responses in the email correspondence.
Companies which knowingly mislead aren't worth dealing with in my opinion.
AND I've just read reviews from July stated exactly the same issues with a reply from Respro saying they will learn from the experience. Ummm. When exactly?

BEWARE OF CUSTOMS CHARGES!
I was charged an extra 16 EUR for EU CUSTOMS CHARGES. They have this point hidden in point 21.B of theT&Cs and do not warn of this charge at any point along the purchase process. Awful customer service: they initially blamed a hypothetical opportunistic courier for this charge (?!). Sarcastic and disrespectful tone.

The best mask you can buy
" I am an allergist (now retired professor emeritus) who first started using AND recommending your masks in 1996.
I'm glad you have increased production on the filters and masks so that I could order replacements. I continue to recommend the masks to people although I don't practice anymore. Five people in the past 3 months have alerted me that they purchased masks at my recommendation.
I consider them the ONLY mask to wear for pollution and of course COVID. Mine is worn daily when out in public despite the fact I am fully vaccinated.
Also, I wear it anytime I do mowing or dirty yard work where I am exposed to allergens, dust, and pollution. Your masks are the best I have ever seen.
With the new Pro-Seal these masks fit even better and I feel give better protection plus keeping the mask away from your nose which helps when wearing it for extended periods. I can also easily add the Valve Blok when required by the medical authorities when the one way valve needs to be totally closed. They are very easy to insert and remove. Not needed most of the time but very handy.
Painful fit!
I have multiple chemical sensitivity so I have tried many masks and know which ones actually do work to filter pollutants. This mask might work to protect from pollution, I don't know!! I carefully ordered the correct size. It did not fit at all. Serious leakage points. I ordered the accessories to help it to fit better. By the time I had all the optional accessories on my mask, it was way to heavy. After only a few minutes of wear the bridge of my nose was bruised. I am a petite woman. My opinion, they need to do some serious re engineering for fit and comfort. My husband tried my mask. It was too small for him but at least he didn't get bruised from wearing it. He did not like the bulkiness of it and and would not order one for himself. I definately would not recommend this product unless all you want is the look! There are much better options available.

Pretty but I avoid while Covid is around as too confusing
I bought my first respro in Beijing for the pollution while walking around, red and brilliant. Come Covid I bought a Cinqro with the insert. The terrible customer non service told me I had to …. Well suffice to say hopeless with glasses and worse you are supposed to manhandle the insert every time you take it on and off adding to contamination. Worst they kept sending me different and contradictory information about using/not using my masks in Covid. I was so confused and upset that I was hugely relieved when my bag with now £150 of respro masks was stolen from my car. Now I have replaced them with Cambridge masks, who are very clear they are FFP2, reply to questions instantly rather than after repeated requests and sometimes months, and actually have a consistent view. Respro are one of the prettiest product but with what is the worst customer service I have ever come across I would avoid and especially with Covid use almost any other mask as the company itself often doesn’t recommend these, but is so confusing I haven’t a clue. Likewise it’s sanitiser.
PS all my other reviews are 5* as most companies are great and try, Respro have no phone, I have tried emailing the bosses who never reply unlike customer service who mostly don’t. Pastry of a business is the product part the service Respro you have made a lot of money the last year, buy a telephone!

Long time fan
I originally bought Respro masks over 15 years ago to help with my exposure to wildfire smoke, hay fever, and dust because I’m asthmatic. They really helped with that. Then along came Covid-19 and my husband and I found them to be the best masks for us. We would just throw another lightweight mask over them if there was an issue with the valves. We wash ours frequently and they hold up well.

I have relied on Respro since 2014 to help me control my asthma and seasonal allergies so I can enjoy life outdoors. My masks - with various filters - block out most of the pollen or exhaust fumes (depending on whether I'm enjoying the outdoors or biking to work) - and also give me a degree of comfort dealing with COVID. :)

My old Respro
I have been wearing Respro masks for over 20 years, for cycling and riding my motorbike, in many places. Lately, I have also used it as protection against the Covid-19. I like the fact that it does not leave my spectacles fogged like other masks, and I can regularly change the filters. There is an issue of sizing that I hope the Respro team could address: my mask is Medium but I find it small, and I am not a big person; less than half of the velcro is holding it in place.

Great product and great support
I have had my Respro mask for almost 6 years and I have mainly used it for commuting on my motor scooter, though more recently for Covid. I feel much safer in my Respro ultra light than I do wearing a cloth mask or a disposable one.
In that time I have peppered customer support with questions and for assistance and the response has always been timely, polite and very helpful. Not sure if Harrison still works there but he has been a brilliant go to person at Respro support.
The only small issue I have had (apart from it currently looking a bit tatty is the neck connection tends to stretch which has required me to install extra velcro but in terms of the overall product, that is no big deal. The filters are a little pricey I feel (maybe a discount for 3 or more packs?) but as long as they work for diesel particulates I guess. What price life?

Been using Respro masks since the 90's. I live in Los Angeles and was commuting through rush hour traffic every morning and afternoon. I developed exercise induced asthma because of the exhaust I was breathing in during my rides to and from work. After a visit to a local hospital, the treatment team of specialists recommended I use a Respro mask if I wanted to continue commuting. Respro was the tool that helped me effectively control the breathing issues I was suffering. I've been a firm believer in Respro masks since the 90's and have been religiously using my mask since then - when going through a heavily trafficked area, or during the late-summer and fall fire seasons that have become all too common here in Southern California. The Respro Masks have been a lifesaver to me and to my many friends who I've actually gifted Respro products to.

For the past 5 years, I have ordered 3 different masks & it been nothing but the best quality overall. It help me breathe better in urban city & even in wild fire season here in California. I have used a respro techno plus mask for past few years mainly while cycling through the urban traffic in Mumbai. It is very useful, comfortable to use and long lasting. The only downside is the filters give out soon which can't be helped in a polluted city like Mumbai...

Beware - the customer is always wrong!
I bought some masks a little while ago. They weren't quite as described on the website so I got in touch soon afterwards to return them. My experiences during this process included:
- Receiving conflicting information from different people in the returns department.
- Attempts to charge a restocking fee in contravention of their own terms and conditions.
- A rude tone to emails.
- Failure to complete the refund after explicitly stating they would.
The common thread running through these interactions was Respro's refusal to take any kind of responsibility for errors or confusion on their part - you can see it in their responses to other negative reviews here. I've never felt treated with so much contempt by a company!
Because they failed to complete the refund, I was eventually able to get my money back through the credit card company.

Respro allergy mask and customer service
Very impressed with the Respro allergy mask xl and techno filters purchased six months ago, very good quality, nice fit, breathability etc had a problem with the bendable nose clip and contacted the Respro customer care team, very good new nose clip posted very quickly. 10 out of 10 for the product and customer service.

Amazing service
I was struggling to find a good fit with the mask I purchased, but the before and after service was brilliant. It took me almost a year to try the mask again (due to personal circumstances), but that was no issue at all for their support team. They react swiftly and really try to help out. Fundamentally flawed design and appalling customer service.
The strap shape and positioning means the mask slips off my face constantly. It sort of biases towards the downward direction so there's always a gap below my chin. Kind of defeats the objective of this expensive piece of kit.
The online advice for measuring the mask size is almost impossible to achieve consistently. So I contacted support and they insisted I go for a large. Then when it arrived it felt a bit on the big side, but I have no way to compare and they refused to change it. So they sent me a strap that's supposed to hold the mask up.
Beware, this purchase is not replaceable, they didn't make a lot of effort to tell you that either!
So there's some device designed to overcome this issue?! Must be a persistent problem. Why not redesign the mask?
All this and I lived with it for a while. Using it while having to constantly readjust to keep it in place. But then the worse thing of all happened. The flimsy velcro strap no longer hold the mask on at all, there is hardly any grip in them and I don't use this mask that often either.
Now I realise that this must be the most over hyped, over priced piece of junk I've ever bought! Amazing that no effort has been made to improve the design.
So the shape and how the mask is secured into place, which are both critical features and common to all their masks, are just simply not fit for purpose.
Plus, on the phone and email they are pretty short as well. Nice...
