Not good experience

Restplatzbörse is the best tourism company as they are always so friendly, so helpful and so good prices.

Extremely negative experience with the Austrian office. 3 weeks of exchange of emails and at the end they told me that they can't organise my travel (I have sent my id card scanned by their request, also I have successfully filled the offer they have sent me). Meanwhile I have lost all other options and my plans are ruined. It was non professional behaviour from their side.

They stole my money.i book a trips to Rhodes at 10th of July i paid the deposit 1152 € ,I want to cancel they took over the deposit and refused to refund.the next day 11th I wanted to rebook the trip again.as I didn't want to lose my deposit. They forced me to make a new reservation with a new deposit.all that happened 2 month before the trip date.28th of August. Simply it's a scam.when I asked where is the deposit I already paid they said it's gone.all of this within one day.so they took over 1152 € within one day.and I have to pay that deposit again.like I never paid it just not to runid my vacation.

All the colleagues are really nice and helpful. They tried all the possibilities to find me the best option. Did not mind to take more time and listen to me, than at the end we could book a family holiday for 3families together, including all the special needs!!!

I liked the pricing, wide range of available tour operators.

I did not like that just a few and rather expensive flight alternatives are available from Budapest to Frankfurt in case if I wanted to travel overseas. Would be great to develop it.

Via email it is very complicated, slow communications. We lost 2 offers because of that. It is much better to call them and arrange everything via phone.

It is very unpractical that you can search online only up to 3 children. We have 4 ...

Extremely Friendly and Assisting

The communication with the customer service was easy and they are very helpful and professional in answering my questions and the booking and offerred from the company is easy to read and booking.

One month before the departure, we receive an email saying that the flight schedule has changed and we arrive almost 24 hours later than initially planned. One day of vacation is simply lost. The price, however, stays the same.

After asking for either adding one day at the end of vacation or compensating the difference in price, we received neither. The company's approach can be summed up as "it is what it is, deal with it".

As a result, 1 day of vacation and ~350 EUR lost for reasons that had nothing to do with us. In return we received an email from Restplatzboerse thanking us for the understanding though.

I will avoid this company in the future.

The rooms of the 4-star hotel are bad, the beds are narrow, the mattresses are uncomfortable. The bathroom is not clean either

We requested an offer online, and when they sent it, they acted like we already booked it. It wouldn’t have been a problem, if they had sent the offer for the trip that we wanted to have. There was no way back, no possibilitoes to cancel or modify the trip.
They don’t bother to have any responsibility, if you have any concerns, you should contact the other agency, like FTI or TUI, bit then they tell you, you should contact restplatzbörse.
All in all, they are a pain in the ass company, if you would like to have a carefree travel, then choose any other company or the best: book it on your own.

i could easily book the location and services i wanted

My experience with this travel agency is negative Because I booked online a package and after I got an email in which the agency reported me that everything was deleted. Then I contacted the agency and I spoke on telephone with a operator/agent. She offered me a second “package” and I agreed and accepted. Unfortunately only after I realized it was just breakfast included even if I asked explicitly half boarding. The person was not clear enough to explain the details of the offer. I think it’s very important for the travel agents to repeat and explain all the details of the package, because knowing if the launch is included or not is not a small detail. Communication was not working well and all in all my experience is negative.

Super professionals and friendly's...

Worst experience in my 52 years! and i like to travel, and i do not choose always the 5 star operators, as i am very flexible. This was a nightmare i would never ever repeat, never ever again restplatzboerse!!! They were cheating on the number of days, and i recognized it only after i arrived in the middle of the night to the destination, where i had to sleep with small kids on the corridor of the hotel. I booked 5 days 24.-29.10., and paid it, and on the spot i found that i got voucher for 4 nights! i would never ever assume i should check if i will get 4 or 5 nights, if i selected 5 days! Another big issue was a plain ticket. Most probably i accidently left my name on the tickets two times, or the system was taking it wrongly like that, so we had 2x my name and once my son's name, no name of my daughter, however the number of passengers and our ages were correct. Still this would not be an issue for the flight operator, it could be easily corrected. I reported it to the tour operator. They told me i do not need to worry, just to wait for the confirmation. Last day they told me it can not be corrected, and we can not fly! I checked it with Pegasus and received info - they easily corrected the name but the rest of the data they could not correct any more (wrong input of birth data done by agency). Therefore i have bought one more last minute ticket for my daughter, in order not to loose full amount of the whole arrangement (as with wrong tickets we could not fly). After i asked agency to reimburse these costs to me, they sad they are not responsible! The worst thing with restplatzboerse is that they are not operator, they have subagent operator from Germany, and they have further sub-operators locally. If we Austrian customers have any issues with them, they are not responsible, and they do not need to follow Austrian customer protections regulations. clear cheating, on customers and on state regulations. after you have any complain, they tell you: call operator (e.g. in my case in one moment it was some Turkish agency speaking no German, no english, having no info, and not working on weekend...). So they are responsible to take money, but not for realization. Awful! We customers need to protect ourselves on the court, and not Austrian court but EU court! and i will do it!
