Replacement mattress arrived with the same exposed foam core

I ordered the Rest Relax Superior Memory Foam Mattress (single). When it arrived and I unzipped the removable cover to inspect it, the internal support layer was a rebond crumb foam core directly exposed beneath the cover.
I contacted the company to raise my concern, as this wasn’t clear from the product listing. To their credit, they arranged a replacement mattress and collected the original.
However, the replacement arrived with the exact same internal construction. When I raised this again, I was informed that this is the standard design for this model and that the mattress matches their specification of 50 mm memory foam and 150 mm reflex foam.
As the company considers the mattress to match the listing, they advised that any return would now be treated as a change-of-mind return with collection costs payable.
The customer service team were polite and responsive, but in my opinion the product listing could be clearer about the internal construction, particularly as the removable cover exposes the support core directly.
Potential buyers may wish to be aware of this before purchasing.

They don't exist they use an address in Weston-super-Mare as a shop but theres nothing there the phone is Reading based and an answer phone nobody answers or returns a call seems like a Scam!!!

Dont make the mistake of thinking you can return an item

I needed to return an Item but kept getting fobbed off by Customer Services. Although this company says it offer a returns service I found that to be non existent.

Update 20/12/2025 - I have come to a financial arrangement with the company so have upgraded from 1 star to 3 stars. I stand by my original comment regarding their returns service.

Took a long time for delivery and at…

Took a long time for delivery and at one point thought I had been scammed! A phone call to restrelax put all my fears at bay the girl was extremely polite and helpful, it arrived in a couple of days afterwards.
.very pleased with headboard and I would definitely recommend.

Good quality bed with great customer service

Having looked at the bed we purchased on another website,I was delighted to find it much cheaper from Rest Relax. I quickly ordered and was informed the next day that it was currently out of stock and offered an alternative. As the alternative colour didn’t suit I was asked if I still wanted to go ahead with the order (with the estimated date given)
All contact with Rest Relax was replied to swiftly and efficiently. Delivery was received yesterday (with plenty of delivery updates) Both delivery people were very pleasant and efficient,delivering the heavy order to my 3rd floor flat (with no lift) and placing it in my room of choice. Building the bed was easy and straightforward and the quality is fantastic!! Would not hesitate to order from Rest Relax in the future.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service, no communication and withholding of money. I ordered a mattress from Rest Relax as I was looking for a European Small Double to match a bed that I accidentally bought in the wrong size. I realised about 20 minutes later that it would be easier to just return the bed so I tried to cancel the order within an hour of making it. There was no option to cancel online so I used the contact option to cancel the order. I was ignored and reached out multiple times to cancel and could never get through to anyone. By the end of the week, the delivery drivers contacted me to arrange delivery and I told them not to deliver as I'd been cancelling the order which they also communicated back to the company. The mattress wasn't delivered but I hadn't heard from anyone and hadn't been refunded. After weeks of attempted contact and back and forth with the company, I was finally refunded some of my money. They have retained £10 with no explanation. The customer service is shocking and communication non-existent and I dread to think how difficult it would have been to get an issue resolved had I not cancelled my order. Save yourself the stress and purchase elsewhere.

You’re absolutely right that your cancellation request should have been handled more clearly and more promptly, and I’m sorry that our communication fell short on this occasion. That is not the experience we aim to provide, particularly when a customer is trying to resolve something quickly.

To clarify the refund point, the £10 retained relates to an administrative / transaction charge incurred once the order had been processed within our system. That said, I appreciate this was not clearly explained at the time, and for that I apologise. We should always be transparent about any deductions.

I would very much like the opportunity to review this personally and ensure everything has been handled correctly. If you’re willing, please contact us directly via Trustpilot or our website with your order reference, and I will make sure this is looked into as a priority.

I HAD A BIT OF A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH MY PURCHASE, MAINLY DUE TO THE DELIVERY COMPANY.

ANYWAY AFTER 2 ATTEMPTS I HAD TO CANCELL MY ORDER. I CUD NOT WAIST ANOTHER DAY EXPECTING DELIVERY .

THEY ISSUED REFUND VERY QUICKLY.

BUT YOU WILL NEVER GUESS WHAT THEY ALSO DID AS A GESTURD OF GOOD WIILL.,,

I GOT A WHATS APP CALL A WHILE AGO FROM HOME TELLING ME THAT A MATTRESS HAD BEEN DELIVERED.

SO NOT ONLY DID THEY CANCEL AND REFUND MY MONEY. THEY ALSO SENT THE MATTRESS TO COMPENSATE ME.

THAT IS AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE.

U DNT GET THAT SORT OF SERGICE MUCH TODAY.

U CAN DEF BUY WITH FULL CONFIDENCE WITH THIS COMPANY.

AND ON A PERSONAL NOTE , A BIG VIRTUAL HUG TO U ALL FROM US .🙏🙏

Be careful with your measuring and budget for assembly

I have just spent £312 having the bed put together. The guys said many of the numbers on the joints were missing so it took longer than it should have. The overall measurement of the bed is a good six inches wider than the 3ft I thought it would be and basically it is too big for the space. We now can't open the door to the room properly. I'm sure the bed itself is fine but this is the last time I will buy a bed online.

To clarify, a 3ft bed refers to the internal mattress size, and the overall external dimensions of the frame will always be wider and longer to accommodate the structure, fixings, and headboard. These full measurements are provided on our product pages to help customers plan accurately, but I appreciate that this can still come as a surprise if you’re not expecting that difference.

Regarding the assembly comments, missing or unclear joint markings is something we’d want to investigate further, as this can impact build time and experience. If you’re able to contact our customer service team with your order number, we’d be happy to review this with our supplier to prevent similar issues going forward.

While we’re sorry this purchase hasn’t worked out for your space, we do appreciate you sharing your experience, as it helps us improve the clarity of information for future customers.

Poor poor quality don't waste your money bad customer experience

The bed we purchased was such poor quality, it broke as we were putting it together despite having done loads of build it yourself items, the quality is awful. We purchased the Carra Pine triple sleeper. It says in big letters on the box, no refunds once the box is opened. What a state of affairs. Now we have an unsafe bed that our kids sleep in. Wow! Absolutely horrendous

Great service

Order and received the bed in 2 days. Delivery service was great.
I had to use Customer service as i believed there was a fault (although it was user/instruction guide error) and they provided great service at speed (replied quickly)

Worth buying

Communication was great as after 2 weeks I emailed them and they emailed back and after 2 days I got an email update stating it’s been posted and I received the item 3 days after
