Able to use features without paying, for once
As someone who is out of work and using this type of site to search for a job because I need money, it was nice to be able to find a nice resume template, fill in my details, make some edits, and actually download what I created without needing a subscription. Or having a watermark on it. Also, the free templates are nice - and it's clear which are free and which are not - the site is easy to use. And I can download my completed resume an unlimited number of times, in addition to the templates, as a PDF or a Word document or both. It was nice to be able to use a service without feeling like I was being taken advantage of or that I won't get an interview or a job if I don't pay for a subscription. And I wasn't overwhelmed with AI suggestions that were inaccurate, unhelpful, and made no sense at all.
