Terrible company

Terrible company. Poor quality and fit. Not as pictured. Poor customer service, especially for designer brand. Very disappointing. I got a pair of pants for xmas that don’t fit and they will not accept return because it is outside of their 14 day return period. Very disappointing. Typically companies accept returns through January 31 for Christmas purchases. To add insult to injury, I tore my ACL and had surgery over Christmas and have been recovering. Still no exception.

I only asked for a store credit too; no solution was offered by their representative. I don’t even know what I will do with them.

Don’t bother - no gown for my gala the day before

Wish I had read these reviews before buying - I purchased a dress for New Years way before the deadline. They didn’t process it nearly on time & now it’s new years weekend - it’s estimated to arrive three days after new years and they didn’t offer to do overnight shipping. Really poor customer service - they were rude on the phone - honestly just purchase somewhere else. I wish I did now that I have no gown for a gala

Return policy is only 14 days, no exceptions even for holidays!

Return policy is only 14 days! No exchanges! I got a skirt for Christmas and my husband ordered it well before Christmas because that's what normal people do. It doesn't fit! I reached out to them for help hoping they'd be more understanding of the holidays. NO! It is against policy! We are out $500+. They do not even deserve 1 star. My Christmas is ruined, but they don't care, they got their money. I wish I had seen their customer reviews before I even asked for this piece. Never doing business with them again.

Terrible quality issue and no customer service

Purchased Harlowe dress new. Wore one time and over 2 dozen of the rhinestone buttons that make up the pattern of this dress fell off. Retrofete refuses to send me replacement rhinestone buttons, or even tell me where to get them because I didn't buy directly from them.

Avoid!!!

Avoid!!!! I was not offered a refund for my first order despite them taking the goods back. I had a considerable amount of money with the company through credit so I purchased another dress from them which 1. Didn’t come on time 2. Is extremely cheap quality 3. Does not run true to size. I have never felt the need to leave a negative review before but this company is selling ridiculously overpriced clothing to unsuspecting customers, with no customer service willing to take any accountability or rectify the situation. I will never shop here again.

FRAUDULENT COMPANY

FRAUDULENT COMPANY. i would give zero if I could.
I have been an elite American Express card holder for over 40 years and am not on,y disputing the charge if not refunded via Farfetch, but I am contacting them to BAN RETROFETE IN ALL FORMATS from American Express.
I received a Regina dress purchased through Farfetch on 11/27. It was too big and poorly sewn at the hips. It was returned TWO DAYS LATER on 11/29. 10 days later Farfetch contacted me there was a problem with return.
RETROFETE SEND THEM FRAUDULENT PHOTOS OF A DAMAGED TAG AND BROKEN HOOK WHICH 1000% were not from MY return. I even sent Farfetch photos of my bloody and bruised face from laser resurfacing I had done 5 days prior. I said “ do you think I put in a cocktail dress and went partying like this”?
I am working with Farfetch but will dispute charge if I am not refunded in full. Retrofete has horrible quality is dishonest and fraudulent in every way. They should be and probably will be investigated for racketeering and online fraud.

TERRIBLE

Probably the most appalling customer service I have ever received. My order has been processing for over 8 business days, even though I ordered with express delivery and their website states orders will be processed within 1-2 business days and there is no mention to current delays to processing time. When enquiring with the company about where my order was an when it would be processed, i was told to wait 1-2 days from receipt of the email and it would be shipped. That has not happened.

Pure lip service and absolutely zero regard for customers. AVOID

SER O YA JEANS MY NEW FAVORITE BRAND!

Obviously none of you have figured out that SER O YA and retrofete are the same company! Same IP address for email, same customer service phone number, same address, designer and same owner. I chose to purchase the SER O YA jeans from SER O YA instead of retrofete because they were having an 80% off sale. These two sites have all the same clothes. I ordered two pair of jeans. The sia and the mountain jean. The sia processed immediately and was at my door within a few days. The mountain jean did not process within a few days so I reached out through their chat feature and was connected with someone very quickly. She was very understanding and got on it right away. I had tracking by that afternoon. Instead of looking at the size guide which is quite generic, You have to check fit details on the exact item. They list all measurements in inches, taking out the guess work. When I received the mountain jeans they were mismarked and much larger than they should have been. I reached out to customer service even though this was a final sale item. They were very polite, understanding,and accommodating! I sent them photos showing that the measurements they had listed were not correct. They responded later that same day and offered me an exchange. Which is exactly what I wanted. I love them and did not want to return them. I find the nicer you are to customer service people the nicer they are to you. All of these reviews are so horrible. None of you people sound like you'd be easy to deal with. Try being nice! The cotton is baby soft. The quality is excellent. The design and cuts of the cloth are exceptional. I'm sorry the rest of you had a bad experience, but I have to completely disagree! Finally, buy the package insurance. It's guaranteed. You should not expect this, or any company to refund you if the Post Office loses the package or someone steals it off your porch. That is not their problem!

Disgusting

Disgusting. Wish I had listened to these reviews. Ordered through Farfetch but Retrofete rejected the refund stating it was ripped. It wasn’t. The quality was poor and they’re ripping me off. I’m now getting sent back a ripped dress which wasn’t mine. AVOID.

This was the first time I ordered from retrofete & I placed the order by accident, I emailed them right away to cancel my order & they didn’t do that. They sent it anyway & all my sizes were not correct either. I called & waited & waited fir someone to answer the call & the lady was soooo lame, she was like a robot. She was not helpful or sympathetic at all. She refused to help & exchange my items. I would stay away from RETROFETE. All I wanted was a smaller size not even returning anything. I checked their website & they have my size & still they refusing to help out. Never ever ordering from them again. All my friends will be notified as well. The worst customer service ever.

Not able to return and bad quality

My order was showing as delivered, when it was not delivered. They said they couldn’t do anything about it and it was UPS problem (first company that ever said that to me). It was delivered one month later and then because it was after 30 days of the “original delivery” they didn’t let me return it. The jeans definitely didn’t fit me well and now I lost my money and can’t wear them. I am never buying from them again.

1st time purchase gone terribly

Poor customer service on a 1st time purchase. Item had irregularities in the fit on the right sleeve and was not represented well in photos in terms of color. Would not refund or store credit on 1st time purchase. I would not shop with them or recommend them to anyone.

I ordered a 'silk dress' which I had to send back because the sizing was not right. I have since seen almost identical fabric online and it is polyester - not silk. I had a feeling as much. I could eb wrong but the dress was very expensive considering how simple it was.

The write "free returns" but charge you…

The write "free returns" but charge you $15 for "processing fee" do not respect companies that do hidden charges. They also charged me $7.50 for the package travel insurance , that you have to uncheck when paying,
I did not even see it. I will never purchase anything from retrofete.

SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!

SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!! I ordered the Electra Dress for my wedding reception. Was stoked to wear it. I try it on and realize that you can CLEARLY see the slip lining seam. The seam comes right across the chest area. So obvious. I call to return and they tell me that I am outside of their strict 14 day return window. Okay, no problem. Can I exchange for a dress of lesser or equal value? Sorry, there is nothing that we can do for you. I heard this over and over after pleading with them to make this right. They would not even send me the same dress..... Really wacky. Crazy price tags on cheaply made dresses combined with terrible customer service. Do not order from them.

Do not order from this company

Do not order from this company! The clothes look nice on the website, but they are terribly made with cheap materials. I paid $1,200 for a dress that had rhinestones. The dress looked beautiful, but was very uncomfortable and the rhinestones all started falling off!! Retrofete’s response was that they cannot exchange or return an item that is worn. $1,200 for a cheap dress. Looking at other reviews, this company is a scam.

Awful customer service and terrible quality. I spend $400 on a dress I can never wear since they don’t offer exchanges and they just told me it’s policy so there’s nothing I can do. Never buy from them!

Terrible. Do not order from this company…

Poor quality garment and worse customer service. This garment came out of the box damaged. Fabrication was nothing as described on the website and unfortunately item was non-returnable. They did grant me an exception to return the piece for in store credit but I do not trust this brand to uphold the quality for what they are asking it’s consumers to pay. As a apparel buyer myself this was a very disappointing experience all around. I would suggest if you want to try anything from this brand, purchase from a third party sight with better customer service and quality control like revolve to name 1. Do not shop direct from sight and do not purchase if you care at all about getting something worth the amount you will pay. If I could give negative reviews I would.
