I ordered some items from the The Big Comfy Couch 30th anniversary edition items from here on August 29th and now it is February 5th of 2026! I emailed their customer service line, back in December 2025, asking where my order is and they claim that everything is considered preordered and they will start shipping out Dec. 12th. So I figured okay maybe a week or two late for Christmas which sucks since these items were going to be for my sister’s children. Well, fast forward to today, 5 months later and I have not received any updates, and no apologies regarding my order. Arguably worst online store I have dealt with, worse than SHEIN AND TEMU HANDS DOWN. If I’m able to update this, we will see if I ever will receive my order.

I wish I could give zero stars. I’ve been trying to receive my order since August 25'(it's almost February 26'!!!), and I’m still having issues getting my packages. There is no customer service phone number, and email support is delayed and extremely unhelpful. The company is not transparent with information at all.

Avoid this company at all costs. I truly can’t say enough about how disappointing this experience has been. I regret ever purchasing the Big Comfy Couch items — it was absolutely not worth it.

My package is now part of a dispute and appears to be lost. At this point, I don’t know if I’ll ever receive my items or if I’ll get any refund or compensation.

Sweaters feel like cheap crap with the design just stuck on that’s going to peel off in the wash. Never received my order after they emailed promising all would be shipped by a certain date (later than what was the original ship date) and then they stopped responding to my emails. They’re deleting all the comments on their Instagram of everyone else having the same issue of orders not being shipped and not letting anyone comment about it which is another huge red flag. Why don’t we spend the time to fix the issue instead of just removing all the comments…

I absolutely do not understand any of the negative TP reviews of RetroKid. I have done multiple orders of the limited time exclusive items, such as Big Comfy Couch Dolls, tshirts, blankets and bag chains and every item is so impressive. I am patient though, if an item is a pre-order I expect there could possibly be delays. This company is excellent and their products are very unique and special for any nostalgia sensitive millennial haha. I completely trust them, I have never had to return anything because I love everything I have received.

Update: Finally received my order today, 12/29. Not by 12/25, as promised.
If I could give less than 0, that's what they deserve.
Placed an order on 8/23 and was charged right away.
By 11/19, I hadn't received anything, so I emailed them.
They responded to my email with;
"The Big Comfy Couch Bag Charms are final sale pre-order items that are set to ship by December 12th 2025."
Well, today is 12/15 and I still haven't received anything, not even a shipping confirmation.

I ordered two shirts on October 14th from this brand and received them not until December 8th. On October 27th, I had not received anything from the company besides the original confirmation email so I reached out after their designated processing period. They informed me the next day that they did not have the shirt size that I had ordered in stock (XL). But they told me they had another size, so I ordered again. Again, their processing period had passed with no email besides the original confirmation email, so I emailed again. This time they told me that in fact they didn’t have one of the shirt sizes in stock and actually had XLs in stock (which they hadn’t originally. Finally the shirts came and they are thin, bad quality, and prints that look like they will crack after one wear.

Do NOT place orders from this company as they will fraudulently charge additional fees, demand you return the items and refuse to provide (promised) refund! They received my return weeks ago and still have not processed the refund as promised.

Graphic shirts are just ironed-on stickers. They easily crack and can be peeled off with your fingers. Won’t survive a wash. Avoid.

Wow, check all you orders bills etc. When you return item and pay in u.s. dollars...
They will issue you a gift card for what you paid in u.s. dollars.
When you go to use gift card ... they convert it to Canadian dollars , so you get 30% less than you paid in u s dollars.

Then they blame you saying well you paid in us dollars ! So we convert to Canadian dollars.

Wow. After like 10 orders . I will no longer deal with dishonesty!

Cute canvas bag with awesome design printed on it. Good quality canvas. Good communication. I was a little nervous but I really wanted the bag so I went for it. No problems. Would (and probably will) buy there again.

Poor quality mass made prints. Not great and they don't last long.
