Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 49 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall, expressing deep frustration with the way the company handles accounts. Consumers frequently complain about unexpected high fees that quickly eat up their credit limits alongside unhelpful customer service representatives who offer no real assistance. People also struggle with payments being heavily delayed, accounts being suddenly restricted without clear reasons, and cards getting declined unexpectedly during daily purchases. Some reviewers noted that trying to fix these billing mistakes or getting a resolution takes months of frustrating communication with unresponsive support teams. Customers state that trying to obtain credit increases feels impossible despite never missing payments over several years of use.

I’m extremely disappointed with Revvi and the way they handle business. I just got this credit card and made a payment on it right away—only to have my account restricted for no clear reason. I take my financial responsibilities seriously and have proof that my payment cleared, yet I was still embarrassed when my card was declined at the grocery store with no warning.

What makes it worse is the complete lack of communication. No email, no phone call, no text—nothing. I actually had to call to find out what was going on and when I did I was asked to send my bank statement and a bank letter just to prove my account is legitimate. This is absolutely ridiculous and unnecessary stress for a customer who is doing everything right.

I do not recommend this company to anyone. If you want reliability, respect, and proper communication—look elsewhere.

Not Happy at all

Not Happy at all. Was told I was approved all I needed to do was pay the 95$ fee and card would be on the way. I received nothing in regular mail, had been looking for my card in the mail. Just happened to be checking my email, days later, and found a Revvi email requesting additional documents. This should have been done BEFORE they took my money and said I was good to go. I used my last bit of money to pay this fee am broke and no card and no telling per customer service when I will get it, IF I DO. 5 Days is all I'm waiting, then if nothing? I want a refund. VERY MISLEADING. No, no fee charge until I am totally approved, despite being told I was simply pay the fee. Im very mad and feel tricked. Scammed.

I have had this card for a year with no problems the all of a sudden a fraudulent charge shows up and I am responsible for it. There is no company with the name on my statement, but I am told I made the purchase. Never use this company.

Total SCAM

I feel like this card targets people with bad credit then exploits their situation. I signed up for this card well over a month ago. Once I was accepted, I was notified that there would be a $95.00 service fee, that I immediately paid. Pretty soon as I waited and waited for my card to show up, I got a text telling me that I was late on a payment for my Revvi card!? Confused I called customer service and the rep I spoke with informed me that the payment was for the annual fee to which I replied I haven’t even received my card yet, he also said that I ordered a custom card, which I specifically and deliberately did not do, long story short this guy just told me what I wanted to hear and acted like he took care of everything and that I didn’t have to make any payments until after I had received and activated my card. Well turns out he just flat out lied to me. I just got another late payment text and this time when I called the girl said basically I am late on my payment for the card I don’t even physically possess yet, and there’s nothing she can do to help me and basically there’s nothing I can do about it… But I am going to do something, I’m going to cancel this nightmare card now and attempt to get my “service fee” reimbursed. I’m not very optimistic about it but at least I’m getting out of this scam card earlier rather than later… Please do yourself a favor and explore other options, because Revvi card is basically a total scam!!!

Update I just finally had a decent call with customer service, and that was just to get my account closed and get the service fee reversed, not sure but possibly went that way because I was recording the call and I let them know that I was, but the girl I spoke with said that she closed my account and that I should get the service fee back in 10 to 14 days so we’ll see. But whatever you do do not sign up for Revvi card!!! And don’t just take my word, go ahead and read all these other reviews…

Don’t pay more than you owe if you don’t want your card to be frozen!

You would think that a credit card company would reward its paying customers. Not Revvi! Apparently it’s considered “suspicious” to make high payments on your card. Perhaps they just want to screw us with interest on our balances?!? That’s my thought! Other credit card companies reward high and timely payments with credit line increases and other incentives but don’t do this with Revvi. Pay only what you owe, interest be damned! Because otherwise your card will be frozen.

Better yet, pay it in full and let your card be frozen because it simply isn’t worth it! Pay it off and be done with them. Close the account. Sure, closing it will impact your credit. But it’s better than the alternative.

Avoid at all cost

Had the card for 6 months, anytime I made a payment over $100 on the card they would lock my card so I couldn’t use it until I provided them with my bank information proving I made the payment.. after they locked it for the 4th time and wanted me to prove I made the payment I canceled it. During the cancellation process, they told me that they could keep my personal and work phone number and their system to call if there are any issues… When I told them that they are not to call my work for anything that the balance is zero and I just wanna close the card they told me it didn’t matter what I said, they could contact my employer for anything… avoid this card at all cost!

Sided with the hacker

They let a hacker into my account, changed my address and phone number on the account. Then made me responsible for the fraudulent charges. Closed my account and are not sending me a new card

I recently got approved for Revvi..AVOID AT ALL COST

I recently got approved for Revvi, paid the $95 account fee used my card ONE time at B&BW for $21.08 I don't have any of my credit card saved to my phone nor had I put Revvi in my phone at all I swiped in store at B&BWorks and when I got home that night I had 4 fraudulent charges for "TIKTOK PROMOTION" all for $12.00. I called customer service immediately. The next day 3 more "TIKTOK PROMOTION" $12.00 Charges popped up. I am DONE DONE DONE WHAT A WASTE OF $95 I can't get back. Avoid REVVI AT ALL COST. I AM CLOSING THIS ACCOUNT DOWN COMPLETELY TODAY. I also would like to add I can't be 100% certain but I feel like what happened to me was an inside job by the employees and the reason I say this is because the first time I called to report the fraud I asked the rep I was on the phone with if I should get a hold of bath & body works and let them know their card reader might be tampered with that's the only place I used it My card has been in my wallet since I got it and he said "no no no it doesn't happen like that it doesn't just spread like a virus, my coworker says people post card holders information on the "black web" all the time and people buy it." That was totally out of left field and it had me stumped and it made me very suspicious. I have four other credit cards that I've had for quite some time now and I've never had an issue The fact that I use this card one time and immediately had seven fraudulent charges for the same thing same amount within 24 hours something doesn't add up here. PLEASE DONT CONSIDER REVVI it's a waste of your money and your time and a loss of peace dealing with the nonsense. Last thing I'm going to add about this I opened this account with $95 on January 29th 2025 I used it for the first time on February 4th 2025 and within a few hours seven fraudulent charges were on my account I feel like I've been robbed of $95 and my sanity lol (laughing to keep from losing my mind with this!)

Don’t do it!

Don’t do it!! Please don’t. They promised me a $300 credit limit. And when the card came in the mail, and after I paid $95 to get it, they had added so many fees, that I owed them $400, before I even used the card. I can’t believe that shit is legal. I literally got a credit card, with a $300 limit, and when it arrived, I owed $400!! There’s a special place in hell for these people!! Please don’t do it.

I applied for a low end Revvi card and they are a scam

I applied for a low end Revvi card and it's been nothing but a headache. The app is outdated and I can never sign in. I have called with my last three payments over the phone and confirmed each payment. They never processed one payment or contacted me via phone or email. They reported that I am over limit. This company is a huge fraud run. They don't repair credit, they try to ruin it

I made two payments within a 30 day period. They blocked my card without telling me and when I went out of town, I could not use it because they said no one makes two payments within 30 days. It must be fraud. I would never use this card again and I hope they go out of business soon!

Not there when you need him!

I had this card going on 3 months. I pay my bill on time and early. Today when I use my card, it declined my transaction. Also I don't even have a balance on my account. I am a African American male with a big family living in Caucasian area where this happen. I feel insulted. I feel upset and embarrassed. In front of my family? Because I wasn't able to get the things we needed. I called them and talked to them while I was in line holding up the lines and the representative from the company told me that I need to swipe my card again on top of it. They will not give me no cash advantage because they said my account have not been open for ninety days. A strongly do not recommend this credit card company.

Don't get this card.

There should be a 0 star option. I place a transaction dispute with this card company and they denied my dispute because the company that I was disputing had my full address and the transaction was online, they actually put the above statement in writing, I AM STUNNED. I will report them to the BBB
