Very slow process, no follow‑up, and poor communication.

Our solicitor (Esin Taze)was unresponsive, refused to have a phone call at any time, would not clarify points when asked, and relied entirely on a third party verification service while being unwilling to do any steps themselves. When this service ran into technical issues that could not be resolved by the developers, Esin (solicitor) told us we'd have to pay another solicitor to do the verification for us, before coming back to them. So we left them after only 10 days of having to deal with them, and found a better solicitor locally.

Don't instruct them, not professional, made mistake throughout the 6 months process, stressed you out, watch out how much they charge you, you better find an accountant to review the statement, be very careful

My investment company had to deal with this company during purchase of BTL property - we had little choice as lender asked us to use them. Hopefully never again. Total chaos, very slow in actions and responses, paralegal lost in the woods completely and working from home, so when I called her I couldn't hear her because child was shouting in the background. Over year after completion they sent me email with request of £50 payment for deed of covenant, when it was already paid upon completion. I had to send 4 email to make them finally realise they have my money and request it over and over again for no reason, just delaying the land registry application. AVOID THEM, one of the worst solicitor companies in London.

It was an absolute Pleasure for using Esin Taze's services regarding Conveyncing. I will highly recomend them and I shall be using their services again.

Awful from start to finish. Felt it necessary to raise a grievance with the Legal Ombudsman though they were equally as unhelpful. I received £100 as 'compensation' for months of agonising stress. Repeatedly ignored, given false information, delays, delays, delays. Horrific experience with Mustafa Abbas and RFB in general! Avoid like the plague.

All promises - zero delivery. After they have your money (aka £4k) your updates are less & less, then when you chase them they are 'never available'. So frustrated in the way they have unprofessionally handled the case - I am taking it to the local MP.

I was recommend RFB and so cancelled the solicitor I instructed. I felt bad as they seemed good but they were understanding.. I thought RFB are well known and charging significant amount so this is going to be a 5 star service! How wrong i was. My experience has been disappointing. The customer service and communication is seriously lacking. It’s anyone’s worst nightmare and especially as a client whose paying £2k+ if you are having to chase or email and get bare minimum reply or no response at all. I did not proceed with the house so asked for my final bill which I received. The amount was sent over on email, no breakdown of what it pertains to, I just paid it, had no receipt or acknowledgment. I personally would not recommend them if you want to avoid further stress in the house buying process.

Legal completion of my home was in September 2022 but RFB has not yet registered the ownership on Land Registrar.

Chased a few times by phone call and email and no concrete response so far. A paralegal even told me on the phone that she was too busy to do so and she would do so whenever she has time. It must be very nice to work in RFB

RFB also made low grade mistakes when dealing the paper work, like typo and write another person’s name on title document.

Tom our conveyancer was absolutely outstanding throughout the entire process, very clear communicator kept us updated of all things that were happening and was happy to take a call whenever we were concerned. Our mortgage advisor, the sellers solicitors, and the estate agent all commented on how efficient and effective he was. He supported us through one failed purchase and one successful purchase and at no point did we have any doubt that he would be able to succeed if it were possible.
On the completion of our successful sale he turned it around in three days coming back from annual leave at an incredible pace. We cannot rate highly enough how invaluable he was. Would highly recommend this firm to anyone looking for a smooth purchase.

Recently used RFB for the purchase of a property. Used through recommendation, they met all expectations and some. Very informative throughout the process, proactive when the chain slowed down and were always fast to respond.
Especially when some of the team were on annual leave, other members of the team were quick to pick the work up and were already up to date on the purchase.

My experience with Ronald Fletcher Baker LLP was great when I was selling my flat through them. Having had a good solicitor before when first buying the flat, I was conscious of using a solicitor further away from us again (as it can be a light issue sending the right documents etc. over when they're not local). However I had no issues with RFB. It was also such a relief to use a good solicitor when we'd had a bad experience from our previous one whilst buying our house (Raman from Chambers) so I was extra cautious about using yet another new solicitor, but Elif Aydogdu was brilliant and on the rare occasions she was away/ on annual leave Berivan Erdogan helped keep the process going so that there weren't delays. I was particularly impressed that Elif also thought to request a partial refund for my service charge and ground rent since I pay upfront (I wouldn't have even done this myself and it made a nice bit of difference financially). She went out of her way to obtain information from Encore and homeground and looked at other ways to gain the required info when both companies were proving to be difficult. Thank you so much!

This was my first time using RFB and I wouldn't look elsewhere ever again. Having had bad experiences with conveyancers in the past, I am always on edge regarding the process. However, Thomas Janda & the team at RFB looked after us amazing, dealing with the sale and purchase of our properties. When problems occurred Tom was clear about what was required and the resolution to any issue.

I would highly recommend RFB and Tom to anyone looking to for a reliable firm when buying or selling a property
