The staff at RGB Porthleven go out of their way to be helpful. I popped down with my son to build a potting bench for his Granny and I was bowled over by the kindness and ‘can do’ attitude of the staff. We are now all set to get making. They even drove the materials to our house. So kind, thank you, we will come back soon, Natasha & Ferdi

Absolutely useless. Pricing higher than most. Delivery times not kept. Now Using a lot better reliable company.

Good old fashioned customer service. It makes a change these days to feel that the person you are talking to on the other side of the counter genuinely has your interests at heart. However Emma in the Barnstaple branch of RGB did this easily. I needed a replacement door handle for one which had broken. The door handle was purchased about five years ago when I was renovating a property. I didn’t hold out much hope. Emma made me feel that she would do everything she could to find me a handle, she kept me completely informed with a number of calls to update me of her progress. She was always positive and had a can do attitude. She is a credit to RGB and hopefully management are aware. As an afterthought all the staff I encountered appeared happy in their jobs and were extremely friendly. Thank you.

I decided I would have a go at replacing a leaking radiator in my lounge. Needed to get a few things to do the job and with Matt and Tony's help, I got it all completed without a leak. Thanks for your help, guys!

I'd recommend this friendly company.

We went local and bought our door and frame from RGB. Things go wrong from time to time but you judge a company on their ability to quickly rectify the issue. Our frame was the right size but the door was too small. The error was with the supplier but RGB owned the problem and got us a replacement and sorted things out. Big shout out to Matt for sorting things for us

Just finished a big house build, I tried other merchants, but their pricing and service were all over the place, I needed a one-place reliable service.
RGB (Bodmin) proved to be the ultimate, Peter the rep was superb, he knew the industry inside and out, he was always on hand to provide a first-class service, he was so good and kept pace with the build, he suggested certain products before I even needed them, he was superb and the prices were always very keen.
the in-house team is very integral to offering the service, the Bodmin team was superb, very helpful, polite, and wanted your business, RBG stock levels were always good.
All in all, 100% great company and staff - would recommend any day

Ordered slabs. Pallet arrived. Slabs missing. Rang RGB, said they would get back to me, they didnt. Ramg next day, said they would get back to me, they didnt. Rang a 3rd day, they said "all slabs ordered left the warehouse", luckily i didnt touch the pallet and strapping intact so sent photo. Another 24 hour delay and i rang back, they didnt have rest of slabs in stock, I had to phone and look about for the similar branded slabs as builders were soon arriving. Got refund for the missing slabs but all in all load of rubbish wont be recomending.

As a diy'er it is so refreshing to go into a building supplies company and not be treated like a complete no nothing! Not everyone is an experienced builder and RGB realise that. I have been in several times recently and have always been treated with the best service ever and had the counter and yard staff "go the extra mile". Well done RGB and especially the front line boys!
