Cathrine realy knows what she is doing, and me and my horses are learning a lot!

I strongly recommend the Ride Like a Viking method. It has given me confidence and patience and changed the way I am around horses. When I went to pick up a horse I had bought, I was told by the professional horse trailer driver, that he was "a really tough one" to load onto the trailer. And we had to use force to get him into the trailer at the transit stop. By using the methods from Ride Like a Viking I easily retrained him to enjoy being in the trailer, in just two or three sessions! Learning this simple techniques made me feel safe that I could take my horse to the vet or clinics without depending on any help to load on or off. This is just one of many valuable things I've learned from Cathrine and the membership. It has changed my behaviour around horses - as now I am aware of my own body language in all kinds of situations and I now how to become a resource for the herd - they value my presence without treats, food, etc. To me animal welfare is very important and this method lets the horse gain confidence, feel safe and relaxed, being listened to, etc.

Both my horses have benefited from the connection exercise, separation anxiety exercise, and mounting block work. It’s not perfect yet, but Falki has stopped backing away from me at the mounting block, and is improving in his ability to ride off property alone, leaving his buddies behind. Bend to stop is helping me slow my very forward Odinn down in a calm and gentle manner. But perhaps I should say that I am the one who has benefited the most from learning how to work with them this way. Gently making things ‘their idea’ is brilliant, and keeps me more relaxed. I like the focus on leadership and cooperation so much more than feeling g like I need to ‘win’. ❤️

My horse had separation anxiety and I struggled to connect because of this. I tried some other courses first, but we got nowhere. Then I found ride like a Viking. After I took the ride like a Viking class we are now in tune and have trust with each other. We play, have fun and have an amazing relationship ❤️ so thank you !

The course is easy to understand and follow. It helped my young mare stop grazing when ridden and solved her separation anxiety. The community is amazing and helped me throughout the whole possess. Highly recommended!
