Problematic customer service

I wish I could give Riluxa a 5/5, but we have not had a straightforward or happy experience.
We placed an order for a marble sink in June. It took some time to arrive, as we knew it would, but it was delayed in shipping.
We have also had to spend further money on the installation as the parts supplied were not fit for purpose and would never have held a sink of that weight on the wall.
We then purchased a marble splashback, which again was delayed in shipping. Unfortunately, when we unwrapped it, it had been poorly packed and was broken.
I appreciate that Riluxa says in their T's and C's that you must open the delivery on arrival. As anyone knows, this is not always possible. The items were tightly wrapped up on a pallet and looked intact. You don't get a delivery time, couriers don't hang around, and we are in the middle of a building project, so the marble wasn't opened immediately.
Both pieces are broken.
Riluxa are saying that it's not their problem and that we need to pay again for a new piece of marble. To put this into context, the sink was over £4k, and the splashback was £275.
Their customer service has been atrocious the whole way through this, and now they simply aren't replying. So now we are in a predicament with a lovely sink accompanied by a damaged splash-back, with no solution insight. Would I order from them again or recommend them? Absolutely not.

To update. We are pleased to say that the new splash-back has finally arrived intact, and we are grateful for the efforts involved in getting it here. It is lovely.
There remains one caveat to this. Their contract of purchase asks you to open the item to check it when it arrives before confirming delivery. This is impossible to do when firstly the delivery driver, who wasn't aware they needed to wait, left and secondly, to be able to open it required tools and time, which, unless a delivery driver has been specifically told they have to wait, means it is impossible to check. Therefore, if the delivery driver leaves and you haven't opened the item, it is your responsibility if it is broken. This seems totally disingenuous as Riluxa themselves haven't opened the item. It puts the purchaser at high risk because if it arrives broken, it is your responsibility. Its shame that this is part of the experience because the products are lovely.

Sleek Bathroom Stool

Ordered on 26th Sept, received on 4th Oct.
Very pleased with my purchase - Sapporo solid surface bathroom stool, it's slightly smaller than I imagined but a good thing for me as bought for use inside the shower when bathroom is renovated, until then it's being used as a bedroom stool.

Damaged bathroom sink replaced

We ordered a bathroom sink from Riluxa. Unfortunately, it has been damage during the delivery process. Riluxa offered to send us a replacement. Support was very clear in communication and responded very quickly.

Some advice: Make sure you are present when receiving a shipment in order to inspect it on site and write down any damage on the package and the product.

Arrived damaged but replacement issued

I ordered a basin which unfortunately arrived damaged. I immediately reported it and was initially told they would not take any responsibility for it and I would have to pay for a new one. Obviously that did not go down well with me, but they did then agree to give me a free replacement or a refund. I opted for the replacement as I had already designed other parts of my bathroom around these dimensions, but since it was limited in stock I will have to wait around 3 months for this to arrive, so I will fit the one I have till the replacement arrives.
