How do you decide which company to use to replace your roof?Most of the roofs in our area of bungalows were getting replaced as they’d been on over 60 yrs The work was being done by different companies some looking better than others
Reviews are good but I wanted to see how people felt when the roof had been finished and on for a while so I trekked round knocking on doors to ask
Everyone was happy to share company cost and overall satisfaction What a difference! Some had actually had to get the roof redone or repaired following poor workmanship
One company stood head and shoulders above all for quality of workmanship consideration of customer and over and above care of your home plus the finished roof was 100% better looking than all the others
This was Rimmington Roofs so no brainer we asked Luke for a quote we’re pleasantly surprised and a date was set Luke also advised us on quality and colour of tiles for us to make a considered choice
Dave ran our project with Luke bobbing in and out as and when
Dave and the lads were great Nothing too much trouble and always cheerful
We ground to a halt with the work for 2 weeks when the area was hit by freak weather but unlike other roofs being done around the area we weren’t left with fingers crossed The lads came every day in horrendous weather to check all safe and secure with the roof
Since our roofs been done we’ve had compliments galore and asked countless times who did the work
The house is much warmer and the lads did a great clean up in the loft and around the paths and drive so no mess at all

Absolutely 💯 recommend Rimmington Roofing Ltd.
Luke from Rimmington Roofing Ltd came out to see me on a snowy Sunday - 5th January 25. I told him what I wanted and how I wanted my roof to look. He was very thorough in his explanation of what would be required, he was kind and respectful of my husband’s dementia. So genuine. He videoed called the scaffolder while in the garden to see if scaffolding could go up over our canopy, as it wasn’t straight forward. His quote came through via email the same day. He also assured me the work wouldn’t take more than 1 week, so not so unsettling for my husband.
Unfortunately I went with another roofer who had been recommended by a neighbour and had done work on our road and surrounding area. He wasn’t the cheapest.
BIG MISTAKE!! After being told it wouldn’t take more than 2 weeks, it took 3 weeks 3 days and my roof left in a complete mess
So in February 25 I contacted Luke at Rimmington Roofing again with my head in my hands, explaining I really wasn’t happy with the work that had been carried out by the other tradesman and that I wanted a seconded opinion. So I asked for Luke’s help. He came round more or less straight away with his lead man David. They were HORRIFIED at the workmanship of the work that had been carried out on our roof.
I also asked 2 other companies for reports & quotes on our roof. They all said the same. Basically the whole roof would need stripping off and replacing.
It was recommended that I report this to Trading Standards, as the workmanship was so bad.
Luke agreed to take on the work to make our roof good. The Rimmington’s team of lads came back on 2nd June 25 to redo our roof. WOW! what a difference! Our roof looks fantastic!. Just what I was hoping for. They did nothing without consulting me first. They reassured me all the way through the work. Nothing was too much trouble. They arrived when stated, put in a full days work, cleaned up at the end of each day. The whole team were all polite and courteous throughout. They photographed and documented the whole job.

Lesson learnt - Do plenty of research and go with your gut instincts. Even if it’s a little more expensive.

We contacted Luke because of a personal recommendation and we were not disappointed. From the word go, he was helpful, pleasant and very reassuring. We have had issues with damp on the loft ceiling for many years and there have been many attempts to solve it - none successful - and the result was a bit of a mess. Now hopefully the problem is solved and the job done is neat and professional. All the tradesmen who came from RImmington were brilliant and unfailingly pleasant. Luke kept in touch and was impressive at all times. Many thanks.

Thank you Luke so much for-helping my Mum in little Thornton. She is 89 years old
My Mum had a cow boy turn up and damaged her roof after the storm last month then wanted £250 to repair it.
I called Luke and he was round the next morning on inspection he said the tiles had been smashed with a hammer.
Luke and his team repaired the roof within two days and only charged her £100.00.

I can't praise Luke and his team enough. From the very first phone call I made luke was so helpful, reassuring, professional and friendly. Straight away this gave me confidence in him that he was going to be the one to fix my roof. My dorma roof had just blown away in the storm last week and I didn't know where to start.
Luke came round and checked it out and from that minute everything was put in place in no time at all.
Luke and his team are so respectful, polite, helpful, reliable, efficient and always kept me informed of every little thing going on and did a fantastic job on the work required on the roof.
I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of a good and reliable roofer.

Rimmington Roofing have recently replaced our gutters and fixed a leak in our bay window ceiling. Originally asked for a quote for a replacement roof but was advised by Luke that it wasn't the issue which has saved us a lot of money and fixed our problems. Would highly recommend them, turned up when them said, did a great job and left no mess. Thank you!

Very impressed with the service provided by Rimmington Roofing. We needed our ridges fixing, chimney flashing sorting and rebatoning and felting the front slates all round the house. They arrived on time, were really organised and professional, finished on time and even cleaned up after themselves. Roof looks great, lovely bunch of workers and incredibly hard working! Luke took the time to explain the work and walk me through what would be done.

Luke came to give us a price for replacing all the tiles, ridge tiles, fitting new lead where needed, felting and battening and finishing off with dry verges. We had previously been ripped off with another company and Luke and his team did all the work to a very high standard. He is to be highly recommended if you need any work doing.

5 STAR PLUS, Luke and his guys were working on a house opposite, I asked if he could quote for a new roof, we received the quote that night and fortunately he had space in his schedule to fit us in, we have been kept upto date with any delays due to weather, the team have been a pleasure, they are courtious and professional, always prompt and the work is of the highest standard, if you are in need of any type of roofing repairs/replacement, you won't be disappointed.

Luke was recommended by two different people who have previously used Rimmington roofing themselves. The work is outstanding, staff polite and courteous and Luke is a gentleman. If you want a professional job done then I recommend you use these guys.

We would definitely recommend Luke and his team at Rimmington. Communication was excellent. He arrived to give us a quote at the arranged time, was polite and helpful. The quote was emailed immediately and the price was very reasonable and did not have to wait too long for the job to be done. The guys on the day turned up on time and were really professional.
