Not only the best luggage, but the most helpful employees! We have been clients for the last 20 years.
I have been using Rimowa for years - reliable, easy to use and great after sales service. They are pricey, but if you travel than a few times a year - well worth the investment.
I recently treated myself to Rimowa’s silver iPhone case, after just a week there is already some damage and discolouration. (baring in mind I haven’t even dropped the case and have babied the case since day one of ownership)
When you buy a premium case, you expect the case to be durable, yes overtime there will be wear and tear. But when you buy a premium brand you expect the case to last you years, not weeks.
I asked what rimowa could do for me, refund? Repair? Warranty? No… Their ‘premium customer service’ really shined. I sent an email, I waited… And waited… and waited for a response and when they replied, to sum up a paragraph, their answer was basically just ‘no.’
This is not a premium experience. Poor quality and craftsmanship, extremely deflective customer service and don’t expect a prompt response.
Save yourself the hassle, go for another premium brand that actually has decent craftsmanship I.e montblanc, CaseTify or Apple.
Update:
Rimowa asked me to E-mail them, I E-mailed them. They haven’t replied and it has been 10 days…
Update No.2:
I haven’t received any correspondence, so that’s nearly a month of no help and no communication…
I have called them and the call taker did not help one bit at all, instead I’m now waiting for a call from the manager (which probably won’t happen).
(I hate being a Karen, but this absurd behaviour from a so called ‘luxury’ company)
Update No.3:
After getting a call from a manager, I explained my situation and they were very understanding. They asked for pictures of my phone case, they reviewed my case and I received an E-mail with confirmation of a refund.
I’m annoyed that it took this long and so much back and forth, but I must say speaking to the manager alleviated some of the pain I experienced with Rimowa so I am at least thankful for that.

A lifetime of satisfaction!
Our first Rimowa encounter was 2 hybrid Lufthansa built-in e-tag 1x large & 1x medium both in beige w dark brown corners ***beautiful***. Our second Rimowa experience out of extreme satisfaction was 2 large essentials in red. Our current most recent rendezvous is with 2 large black hybrid.
All 3 sets are in excellent condition and used without any concerns for function and durability regardless of where we travel the world over. We couldn’t imagine let alone find a comparable alternative.
Thanks Rimowa,

I do not recommend this brand at all, it's a scam for the rich.
I bought 6 Rimowa suitcases as well as a beauty case thinking that the quality would be there and well not at all on the 6 suitcases 3 suitcases are completely broken.
I contacted Rimowa by email to express my dissatisfaction and in response to this, customer service contacted me by phone to let me know that it was possible to repair the suitcases but that I still had to pay. is this a joke or something? I've already spent a fortune buying all these suitcases and I'm still being asked to pay to repair them. Well, here we are really talking about a number 1 money scam. So when you think that you buy a brand like Rimowa and that the quality will be there, it's completely false. So from experience I advise you not to buy this brand again, you can buy another brand that is much cheaper and probably much more solid, this will allow you to save money. I would have liked to be able to attach photos of my products to show the deplorable quality of these Rimowa suitcases, unfortunately it is not possible to add photos. but I can guarantee you that if you were able to see the state of the suitcases you would be surprised. yet another luxury brand to avoid! What a shame today to dare to sell such expensive products for such deplorable quality.

I purchased a polycarbonate suitcase from Rimowa Hong Kong. While rolling it on the sidewalk to take it home, the telescopic handle kept failing and retracting. After investigating why, it was clear that the vibration from the sidewalk was causing the problem. I immediately returned it, but was told that it needed a smooth surface to roll on and all sales are final. I left the item there and am proceeding with a chargeback.
UPDATE: I HAVE SPOKEN TO RIMOWA HONG KONG, AND THEY HAVE AGREED TO A REFUND. AS SOON AS I RECEIVE THE REFUND, I WILL REMOVE THIS REVIEW

Sadly can't recommend them any more. Having charged me £120 to repair my suitcase, the repair broke on first use. When I complained about this I was told the suitcase is old and offered no refund for the repair or compensation for the massive amount of time wasted bringing it to them in Mayfair (they won't collect or allow courier services for repairs).
Absolutely appalling service I would expect from a budget brand, not when the cases are £1500.
EDITING after Rimowa's reply:
They continue to dig their heels in and ask me to bring the case back to them in central London again, after I took out a whole day to do this for their initial attempt to repair it. I have requested they refund the failed repair, or collect the case if they want to make another repair. They are not willing to do either. Raising a dispute with my credit card company.

Poor customer service and delivery.
They promise more than they can deliver just to get a sale. And charge extra for a service they don't deliver.
In addition, they deduct the money from your account without the item being delivered.
Then promises to pay back within 14 days.

I purchased two cases from Rimowa. I never found the wheels on the carry on to be user friendly. Recently, one of the back wheels fell off when I was working away. I had to pull the case the opposite way round, which meant the material got damaged. I contacted the repair service via their website but didn't get a response. I decided to bin it. Very poor service for an overpriced product.

Cabin Lite is perfect for regular travel, high quality and very easy smooth manoeuvring. Zip covers for each side makes packing much better. Love the green colour and confident of quality and durability. I can now stop trying to save and buy cheaper imitations that cost more over time.
We were flying through London, stopping for a few days, before flying on to Morocco. I genuinely believe that baggage handlers hate people who own Rimowa cases. We have a matching pair of large aluminum Classic cases, and one had obviously been dropped from a great height. One wheel was missing, and the corner joint that it goes into was completely smashed. I was certain that it was not repairable, but made an appointment to have the damage estimated in the Bond Street store. We had fantastic service and the assistant said that he would do his best. I explained that any repair had to be done today. Two and a half hours later I got a text to say it was ready. When we went back, they had replaced the wheel and the socket, but also bashed out some damage and replaced the locks. It was fantastic service and fantastic value, given that our cases are well outside the guarantee period .
