This is undrinkable unless you like a mix of vinegar and maple syrup. That is seriously what it tastes like. Until we can do better, I’m drinking the real stuff, I’ll just cut back.

Enjoyed the Ritual Zero Proof Rum, Whisky and Gin alternatives -- but the Aperitif Alternative tasted slightly worse than the cherry cough syrup I remember from my youth. The same chemically bitter t... See more

The whiskey alternative is horrendous and more so a Scotch alternative than a bourbon alternative. Super smokey on the noise, SWEET, and horrendously spicy for no apparent reason other than to emulate... See more

Close, but no whiskey

First off, ordering, shipping and all of that was great. I ordered the sample pack and all bottles arrived in perfect condition (which can be touch or go with shipping glass!). As for the taste of the different liquor substitutes... They were alright -- they're CLOSE to the original, but there is definitely a difference. The blend of spices and herbs is really heavy up front on the nose and palate. And for the whiskey at least it's spicy, in like, a lot of spices, but also a little spicy spicy (which isn't great if your preggers and having nausea/heartburn issues... like me). All in all, it'll be great for those "in a pinch" times when I want to feel like I'm having a drink, but not something I'll go to regularly. It is nice to have an option though!

Ritual Zero Proof Whiskey

This is amazing. I always liked to have a highball after work but I can no longer drink alcohol. Ritual Zero Proof is an awesome product. I can now sit down and relax with a drink or have a drink with friends. Absolutley love this stuff. Thank you so much for the effort to help us that cannot drink alcohol.

Burns to long, needs a lot of love

Upon tasting the tequila, gin and whiskey - without any mixer - I was disappointed at how hard and long it burned and the flavor was off. It wasn't nearly as authentic tasting as I was expecting based on the marketing. In a cocktail recipe it was OK. I don't expect non-alcoholic beverages to taste exactly like the real thing, but this needed a lot of covering up in the form of mixers and garnish to taste good. From a marketing feedback perspective: if people taste it plain out of the bottle before mixing it that may be a deterrent to even go further with mixer recipes or future purchase. It should be emphasized it's a good replacement for those that are looking for a craft cocktail alternative - emphasis on it needs a lot of extra love with mixer ingredients to achieve a good tasting drink. Not a good alternative for a simple "on-the-rocks", "single-mix" (G&T), or "neat" beverage.

Ordering and delivery went perfectly but...

Ordering and delivery went perfectly. Packaging is great product looks fantastic and the helpful cocktail guide was great too.
However, the taste just didn’t match up to my expectations of the real thing.
I’ll try with a few more cocktail recipes

Tequila is acceptable

Tequila is acceptable, but could use a little more mouth feel
Gin tastes like Christmas trees smell, good as a smell but not as a taste
I will try the whiskey next, based on the tequila
Wish you made rum and vodka too!
Beautiful service and presentation
Thank you for a zero proof experience

A good gin substitue in certain drinks

This is my second bottle of gin alternative. I like it. Mixed one part Ritual to one part sweetened lime juice, it makes a satisfying gimlet. Tried it in a martini and had to throw it out. This is helping me keep my pledge to not drink during Lent. Oh, and delivered quickly and packaged well, no breakage.
