I will call it "magic experience". I saw beautiful places with an incredible culture. Diversity of food to try. The tour guide very knowledgeable about their country. I would love to take another tour with you guys.

My family and I had a great trip in Spain and Portugal. The Ritz tour itinerary was well planned out, fast pace, and we saw many beautiful sites. However, it would have been nice to have a little bit more free time to eat lunch and explore more. Our tour guide, Ocean, was excellent. He was on top of everything and always gave us a bit of history about each city and site we visited. We had a memorable trip. Will definitely book with Ritz again.

Hotels we wonderful. The restaurants that we were taken to, as part of the tour, we terrible.
Although the tour guide was a wonderful human, he was not fluent enough in English, at time not understanding our questions.
Yes the excursions were beautiful, but not planes out well. A 7 hour tour day had us in the bus 5 hour of that 7 hour day.

We had traveled with Ritz Tours for our trips to UAE/Dubai and Thailand (2/2023) and Brazil and Peru (8/2023) and many trips to various parts of China for the past several years.
We enjoyed our trip to Eastern Europe coving six countries in May 2024. We are very please with our Tour Guide Mr. Wei Chen.
Our original flight was delayed and cancelled eventually. We arrived at the destination about four hours late with delayed luggage. Our Tour Guide gave us instructions, text messages, and helped us join the whole group ASAP. That was much appreciated.
He took excellent notes, gave us advance notices, and arranged our visits to different palaces and castles with great details and "precise" timing. Besides showing us three movies on the bus related to our trip, he also offered a brief review of the countries and cities, and told interesting stories with a great sense of humor. We have booked another trip to Turkey in the near future. Thanks! T&T

Hotel accommodation, itineraries and food arrangements are all above expectations. Knowledgeable tour guides are very helpful too.

My husband and I are not tour people, preferring to travel independently. However, being active seniors with English as our sole language, we realized if we wanted to visit China it would have to be via a tour. Ritz Tours was recommended to us by a number of friends and we were fortunate to travel with two of them. The highlight of our tour was our guide, Ocean Hu. Ocean is a master story teller; we will remember his stories long after we have forgotten which dynasty ruled when. The local guides were also very good; enthusiastic about their regional area and very open to questions and explanations.

We visited China in an effort to learn more about the country and Ocean fulfilled this desire and then some. He is incredibly knowledgeable, warm, friendly, flexible, understanding of the different needs of the tour group, and kept his sense of humor under even the most difficult of circumstances. A born leader!

A couple of things we wished we had known prior to departure: the hotels are not air-conditioned until May and squat toilets are not for the faint of heart. Also a shout out to Lillian and Olga, who were extremely responsive and helpful. We returned to San Francisco with a much better appreciation of China today. So a successful experience!

Ritz office in LA was very helpful and tour was generally good and Japan is has an interesting history. Tour can be improved by only including only the MOST important castle, temples and shrines. After a few days this becomes too much to enjoy and understand the history. I wanted to go to a tea ceremony and festival but this was not offered at all.
I felt that we needed to learn more about their culture. The town I liked the most was Kyoto. Our guide was nice and helpful but much of the information she shared on the bus and inperson could not be fully understood because of her accent. I know that it is hard to lose your accent so I suggested that a summary be given to us so we could read it for ourselves. I will recommend Ritz Tours to others.

Thoroughly enjoyed my trip to this beautiful and fascinating country. Hotels were fine, enjoyed all the restaurants. There was so much to see I wished the tour was a little longer. The only thing that was disappointing was a trip to a garden on a day that was pouring rain there. ( Don't remember if it was in Kyoto or Osaka.) Ended up walking back to the bus, was just too wet. Would have been nice if there was a back-up activity in case of rain.

We had been travel to all those cities multi times before. This Ritz tour experience in China is the best we had so far. To our surprise, the food are top notch for a tour. Hotel are 5 stars. Yangtze River cruise is super with many special privileges like VIP lounge and banquet dinner. Tour buses are mostly clean and comfy, one thing need to point out is the bus in Shanghai smell like a moving cigarette ash tray. All local tour guide are great and knowledgeable. Ocean, our tour leader is fantastic all the way 👏 he navigated the whole group through the confuse and busy airports with ease. During the flight being cancel due to bad weather, Ocean put in extra effort to arrange for a new flight, hotel accommodation, transportation and make sure we don’t go hungry. Also I need to thanks Lillian in her LA office for provide all the needed information. Ritz, we will comeback for more future travel.

Ritz Tours paired our tour group to China with a 5-star rated tour guide Ocean whose extensive experience and expertise navigated us through the various sights and attractions on our 16-Days Scenic Yangtze Discovery Tour. Ocean is very responsive to our needs, customizing and catering to the varying needs of different members in our 10-member tour group, making each one feeling like a VIP.
The hotels are top-notch, the variety of meals are delicious, and the cruise ship Victoria Sabrina is world-class, and the local guides are very knowlegeable and friendly.
Although tiring as we zip through so many cities and attractions, Ritz Tours has given us a very memorable and wonderful experience. I will gladly recommend Ritz Tours to my friends and family members and mention Ocean as the person to choose as their tour guide.

The Japan Tour was fantastic, way above my expectations. The guide, Hiroshi, took great care of our group, working extremely hard to make sure things go well for all of us. His heart was in his work! Thank you very much.

The itinerary was ideal, not too much and not too little. I am a senior citizen, and the amount of walking and sightseeing was just over my limits, but that was great. I had to push myself to keep up, and that gave me a chance to improve my endurance. I appreciate it very much.

The sites were all great, filled with cultural treasures. I learned so much more about Japan than I expected. The Japanese keep their country clean, orderly and welcoming. We have so much to learn from them!

We also appreciate the fine meals arranged by the tour; all at unique and high quality establishments. We don't travel with tour packages much, but the more frequent travelers in our group mentioned that the meals were definitely a cut above, especially compared to cut-rate offerings (Gate1, for instance.)

We recently went on a tour of Japan. The country was interesting & beautiful and the people courteous and helpful but the tour itself was pretty grueling! Too many shrines, temples and Castles and not enough time to enjoy the food and shop!
