Still waiting for items ($450 worth)…

Still waiting for items ($450 worth) ordered online 4th Jan.
No replies to emails or messages left on their contact number for NZ.
Just wish I had looked at the reviews beforehand!
They used to be an excellent company to deal with before this "mickey mouse" Mosaic outfit became involved.
Update 5th Feb... still no response from Rivers. Time to escalate to ACCC and make a formal complaint.

Worst company ever!

Do not buy from Rivers online, returned item on the 4th December, it's now the 2nd Feb and no refund in site! They are keeping people's money and not responding to emails or calls conveniently! I've had to go to consumer affairs.
Sadly they are linked to Crossroads and Katies

Wrong Address Wrong Size

I ordered 2 pair of mens shoes. Rivers sent them to wrong address after confirming they had the correct address. Took approximately one and half months to finally arrive after having to organise the redirecting from South Australia to Tasmania. Picked the items up today only to find they sent the incorrect size. Far too exhausting to deal with. Will not be placing any more on line orders with Rivers. Shame on you Rivers.

Rivers/Mosaic blame everyone then send wrong order

Order placed 6th jan rang 17/ 1 and 21/1 advised both times will be notified when order is despatched.
Then emailed both Rivers and Mosaic the parent company to Rivers and many other stores.Received email blaming everything except them. Then on 31st jan a parcel arrived from rivers, except...i ordered 2 size 12 black shorts and received 2 mens check shirts size 4XL. Have emailed mosaic yesterday and not heard a word. Will NEVER order from them again!

Ordered over 5 weeks ago, nothing but automated responses to tracking number requests and they dont answer their phone. Avoid ordering anything from Rivers online

A complete failure of customer service.

Rivers has to win the award for worst customer service in Australia. I waited months for a package, and am now waiting weeks between inexplicably unhelpful customer service responses.

This is far from the first time this has occured too.

Goods still haven’t arrived. Update 30/1/22. Gets worse

Ordered goods 3 weeks ago. Sent various emails. Only received auto responses. Tried to ring got cut off. Emailed to cancel my order and refund.
Two days later they advised my goods had been dispatched and may take 2 weeks to arrive. That would be 5 weeks delay. Absolutely ridiculous. I will never order with them again. Buyer beware.
30/1/22 Update: Almost 5 weeks now they advise me my order is delayed because of bad weather conditions in Western Australia.....what bad weather conditions????????Total lies. I've escalated my complaint in Paypal. I want a refund. I hope they can help.

They falsely sell clothes they don't have in stock!!!!

They falsely sell clothes they don't even have in their warehouse and then hide behind excuses like covid or delivery issues. In my case after a month and a half I got the truth out of them that they didn't have the clothing in their warehouse at time I ordered and had paid for items. For an order over $250 they offered me a crappy $20 voucher for inconvenience only to wrap a thousand conditions around it. Their help line is ridiculous and persons answering make promises they never keep and have no knowledge of what is going on in their own organisation. I caught them lying multiple times in follow up calls until I worked out the truth about my order and to keep you on the hook they send excessive duplicated emails daily which tell you nothing but we are checking with our supplier (which confirms they didn't have the goods they were selling). After a month and a half I sought a refund and even at that time they still did not have the items in their warehouse. After too many frustrating experiences I would never buy from this uncoordinated rabble again. On speaking with others who have bought from them they have experienced the same issues. The delays are incredible and they blame Aussie Post on their website to deflect from the fact they don't have the goods at their warehouse even after they take your money and continue to advertise them on their website. Shame on You Rivers, you are a disgrace and are deceptively selling things to good people which you don't even have in stock.

Absolutely horrible experience

Absolutely horrible experience. Rivers, do you even care a little bit? 3 times having to call them and email about an order that is now 5 weeks and waiting. They will send a generic email with a tracking number that isn't working etc. Disgusted!

Beware they steal your money and don't send goods. True story

Bought gifts for Dad and Brother on 15Nov21 they promised I get parcel before Christmas. They sent me no goods, brother and dad got no gifts on Xmas Day. Rivers stole my money, embarrassed me at Xmas Day and it's now 17Jan 22 still no parcel they stole my money and mangers don't have courage to return my calls. I called over 50times to date the phone staff just laugh at me. This very true story. Very sad story. Don't trust this company. They stole my money. they humiliated at Xmas. Beware Beware my Dad reported them to ACCC.

Total crap only order if you wish to wait 6 weeks for your order

Total crap! Ordered online 22nd November and only just showed up today 12th Jan. that’s just over 6 weeks. Tried to contact 2 weeks after. All I got was an email reply saying sorry and offering me a $10 voucher. But no update about my order. Yes Australia to Australia. I work for a large company and run their online dispatch department and for us this is totally unexceptable.

Do not trust rivers online.

Do not trust rivers online.. you won’t get product as promised on the date. Called 2 times, submitted tickets few times, never even get tracking number for an order made 1 month ago. Very frustrating.

I read a lot of other reviews about Rivers, why are hey allowed to continue to trade.
What is wrong with the Government.

I phoned and emailed Rivers Retail Holdings Pty Ltd several times and never got one response from them, I eventually got a refund after five weeks from PayPal whom demanded a Statutory Declaration which was a huge inconvenience.I will never buy from Rivers again or recommend them to anybody, the Government should close them down

Lousy customer service

Lousy customer service. My first order was cancelled after 3 weeks as I was told" your items are out of stock' even they are advertised in stock on the page. My second order has been sent over 2 weeks after the order. Pathetic service,Rivers. Lousy
