Crap company

bought a sofa from these they delivered…

bought a sofa from these they delivered two left hand parts of the sofa. i chased this up and they come back after a year to collect it. then fobbed me off for another year this has been ongoing since 2022 it is now 2024 and they are saying they went bust NOW TRADING AS FURNITURE NETWORK... ABSOLUTE SCAM.

get this i messaged them on the original messenger RJF now named furniture network with all my old feeds messaged order details disputes etc and this new company furniture direct reckon they are a separate entity which is incorrect how the hell would they have access to RJF's old messages messenger and facebook account RJF have clearly just liquidated their business because their so dodgy and ripped loads of people off renamed their social media and uploaded a new photo image. reported to snap finance trading standards and everyone else i could DO NOT USE FURNITURE NETWORK CHECK COMPANY HOUSE WHEN RJF LIQUIDATED AND HOW FUNNILY ENOUGH FURNITURE NETWORK COINCIDENTLY STARTED UP STRAIGHT AFTER...

CROOKS NOW FURNITURE NETWORK!!!

These crooks are now trading as "Furniture Network" based in Birmingham.

Sold us a sofa that less than 6 months in is absolutely falling apart.

The frame has cracked,Buttons have fallen off, the sofa bed is completely useless as a bar sticks into your back and the cushions have sunk.

These vile creatures offered us a replacement which we refused and requested a refund, they dragged things out (which can only have been on purpose) and then went bankrupt leaving us with nothing and nowhere to turn (the sofa is still covered by the manufacturers guarantee but still nothing).

If these pigs can afford to set up a new business they should have been able to refund a young family with 3 disabled people in the house.

REMEMBER THE NAME " FURNITURE NETWORK"

BASED IN BIRMINGHAM!

The sofa is just a year old the frame…

The sofa is just a year old the frame has snapped were I sit ,contacted them but nothing back having to claim on my home insurance and having to pay £200 excess, wouldn't recommend this company, when the sofas arrived it was in 4 pieces and took a couple of hours to put it together do not buy from here avoid at all costs

Absolutely disgusting had sofa on finance now got two years sitting on something not fit for purpose they have ignored all emails and also my chats they have changed they name to furniture network avoid these people

Shocking company

Shocking company. My daughter had a settee from them and not fit for purpose, when you see how these are made under the material it will shock you. Also do the research on this company via companies house. The director has a lots of other companies that have all stopped trading. Daughter now taking them to the small claims court. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Go to companies house website and search them and then look at Amjed Mahmoods previous companies.

AVOID!

AVOID!
Bad mannered staff, blamed me for changing the date of delivery when they couldn't meet the date that was specifically specified three weeks prior at time of order.
Don't waste your money on a company that doesn't appreciate you spending your hard earned money in a cost of living crisis. Bunch of con men who literally don't care about their customers or the service they give.
I have ordered the same sofa elsewhere which was more expensive but would rather pay extra for better service and respectful staff than wasting my time on these trash peddlers.

Dispite of the various 5* reviews i…

Dispite of the various 5* reviews i have read.

Unfortunately my experience has been awful.
I bought a corner sofa (absolutely lovely to look at).
However, after only having this sofa for over 2 months, i reported to RJF that it was faulty, it was making a loud noise and the cushions we're dipping.

After MANY emails/facebook messages/phone calls.
I still have NO OUTCOME!! Which is rather frustrating.

I've been promised twice now that someone would call me, and organise someone to come out to take a look at the sofa.

I'm really disappointed as all I've heard is good reviews from this company. Such a shame.

Bedroom furniture

Bed, bedside cabinets and dressing table-

Amazing service, quick replies on Facebook and order was booked up.
They notified me of the date for delivery 2 days beforehand and allocated a timeslot on the day. Saved me from waiting in all day.
Delivery guys were so careful and helpful taking the furniture inside the house.
After checking my items I signed the invoice.
The quality if the furniture is superb and its my second time ordering from this company. Have recommended to friends and family and am looking forward to ordering again. A one stop shop for all your furniture needs.

Avoid this company. They refuse to give me my money back.

1 star is too much it would be none at all!!
I ordered a Verona 3 seater with armchair and foot stall. The first sofa delivered had a tear in the fabric and starting making squeaking noises when sitting/standing. I contacted rjf the ‘manager’ ravia said she was sorry and another sofa would be sent out I waited 3+ weeks with no communication from rjf I had to chase it up each week to see progress, I was told a shipment was coming in bla bla. The second sofa came unwrapped dirty and scuff marks to all corners of the sofa the wood was visable. Ravia agreed to yet another replacement. Upon communions with Helen the customer support she informed me ravia was not the manager and the above people did not know my experience with the company Helen assured me that if any problems were to occur with the 3rd replacement I could get my money back as after 3 tries of the company I am entitled Helen said ravia is not the manager just a sales assistant. I then waited again 3+ weeks for my third replacement it came the delivery men assembled the feet to the chair and they were totally wonky with only one side touching the floor. I told the delivery men I didn’t want the sofas and I wanted a refund. I contacted ravia told her the issues she said she would speak with the delivery team they validated what I said but yet she did not believe me I could not speak with rjf as the office was closed. The following day I speak with ravia again she appears to be very snotty, arrogant and obnoxious woman, she said a refund was totally out the question only to have my 4th replacement delivery!! Upon delivery the sofa came the delivery team made sure I was happy to sign the copy of the receipt stating I was happy, the following day the sofa started squeezing bad, I contacted rjf ravia said an internal investigation needs to be done as to why it’s only happening to me and as a company they can’t keep delivery new sets to me. she said she would be in touch I contacted her after a week and that’s where she stated the company wasn’t going to do anything and they are having nothing more to do with me. I contacted citizens advice done All the relevant steps threatened court action, rjf sent out a inspector where it was found it was actually a manufacturer fault the bolts were very loose on and there was a split in the wood! then the company offered to issue me with a refund of £455 after I paid 765 for the set! after numerous deductions!! For silly reasons such as re packaging fee after the sofas I refused had to be re packaged, and the return of my third set. I have now issued the company with a 30 day notice of court action which is up very soon, company’s like this needs to be shut down after everything I’ve told citizens above they have reported this company to trading standards. I will fight these to get my money back!

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!

Do not buy from this company!! So many people have issues as you can see and sadly I am another customer!
Went into the showroom and was offered a cash price (I know that should have been the first red flag!)
Sofa was delivered in December, inspected it and there was a small tear and marks on several of the covers.
Got in touch with the team who said they’d speak to the manufacturers, no further reply (shock) so after chasing was told that I was delivered the display sofa due to wanting one just like the one in the show room. Why then speak to the manufacturer? I was then told the ‘cash price’ took into consideration that it was the display one. Apparently there was a miscommunication, yes there 100% was as I was never told. I think they call that miss-selling!
Several back and forths later (with lots of chasing for replies as they just ignore you) and I’m offered replacement covers for my cushions and seats as some kind of resolution, they finally turn up but of corse there’s another issue! There are no seat covers included just cushion covers. Several more emails to find out what’s going on and of corse they can no longer provide the seat covers but they hope their efforts show I’m a ‘valued’ customer and rest assured my covers are machine washable.
Valued….yes adding value to their bank account and that is it!

In conclusion, do not buy from this company, do not trust a word they say, do yourself a favour and buy from a reputable company. I am fair, they have had nearly five months to resolve, have they? No! Do they care? Not one bit! If you have no issues I’m sure they’re great (like every company) but if you do, will they resolve them? Not a chance! Do you want to take that risk?!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
I purchased 2 sofas (Oakland and Verona) from them in September. By November I had to contact them because a stud had come off the Verona sofa. They sent someone out to fix it but they couldn’t do it as RJF had not provided replacements studs.
Then RJF furnishings replied to an email on the 30th November 2022 which said –
‘RJF has already ordered the additional verona buttons, we are just awaiting shipment.’
On the 16th January 2023 I emailed to say we still haven’t heard anything about the replacement buttons and to say the other sofa (Oakland) was already starting to look flat on the seat cushions.
On the 18th January 2023 RJF replied saying –
‘We have contacted our supplier again and will be investigating the outstanding studs as shipment should already have been sent out.’
In an email sent from RJF on the 23rd March 2023 it said –
‘We have located the necessary accessories required for your secondary repair on the Verona 2-seater and an upholstery repair company will be in touch to schedule this with you.’
This contact was made to me only after I made a complaint to the finance company.
This shows that RJF lied about any buttons being ordered previously. They have made out in further emails that I am being difficult by not providing the sizes of the buttons required and will close the case if I do not cooperate. However, I gave them plenty of time to sort this issue and they only responded when I made a complaint and said I wanted the sofa to be returned for a full refund. They said they will not refund and I need to allow them a chance to fix the issue. As said above, I had allowed an engineer to come in November and then very patiently waited while they kept saying the studs were ordered. Also, more studs had actually fallen off in this time.
The Oakland sofa is badly made, you can feel the frame work through the material and it very quickly went flat on the seat cushions.
I’m not prepared to let them send out another engineer to sort this due to the ongoing issue with the Verona sofa. I have now seeked legal advice and will be taking action against this company.
They are a terrible company, the customer support is shocking. They take no responsibility and constantly make you out as being difficult.

Cowboy so called company.!

Seem to be a very dodgy company and I wouldn't recommend to anyone, first of we was told the sofa we ordered they didn't have this was only told the day before delivery so we except to take another sofa that they said they had, 2nd they messed around on delivery day and didn't turn up on the time stated and wanted to do the delivery when it would be dark stupidly late at night.!! so obviously something strange going on maybe so then they can rush of after they have took your cash to which we refused and said to cancel the order and issue a refund of the deposit back and guess what now they are playing silly buggers and not returning the deposit, just glad we haven't had a sofa from them because I can gaurentee if you have any problems they would pass you around till you got fed up of trying to get anywhere with them, shady tactics and I would recommend anyone to avoid at all costs.

Unfortunately, there are situations sometimes when certain items might be temporarily out of stock due to unpredicted delays. If the item you ordered was not available in time for your delivery, RJF only offered you alternatives and it was completely your choice whether you wish to receive an alternative for the same values and similar design, or if you wished to wait for the original item. Regarding the delivery times, we have been offered small windows to do your delivery which turned out to become impossible to deliver at the specific time requested by yourself. As a company we have tried so hard to complete your delivery at the exact time requested by yourself. Moreover, we have encountered very abusive language from yourself therefor we have decided not to put our delivery team in such a situation and decided to cancel your order due to this reason.
The £20 deposit that was paid, was returned back to yourself within the time limit we advised.
We hope this was very useful in clearing up any misinformation.

Efficient and quick kept up to date re…

Efficient and quick kept up to date re delivery .. when sofa arrived it had to come up a flight of stairs and wouldn’t fit through doorway but the legs were removed and it went it fine .. the delivery men unwrapped it put all the cushions on and asked if I was happy with it .. I am happy with it I am more than happy it was a great price … affordable , I ordered it Wednesday and it was delivered Saturday.
I recommend buying from this company thank you to Aliasar and his helper … I hope I spelt that right (delivery guy ) great service from start to finish !

Do not buy from these!!

Sofa was in its packaging delivery drivers didn't even offer too bring inside as they said they didn't have time as was running 2 hours late!

I signed the paperwork and wrote will inspect later and call if any problems.

Well next morning opened them. And have holes in on the sofa. I contacted them. And was told nothing can do etc. Stay well away!!!!!

Hi Simon, we are sorry to see you feel this way. RJF has investigated and found no fault from the delivery team. The protocol has been followed properly. As we have not received supporting evidence for your claim we were unable to come out with a different outcome.

Moreover, all our terms and conditions are available on our website for all customers to see. This allows all customers to be informed regarding the order process, delivery process and after care processed.

The invoice you have received was very clear that customers must inspect the goods whilst the delivery team is still present and the delivery team will never prohibit the customer to enforce their rights.

As you have signed the contract and confirmed you were satisfied with the product and the service received, and since you failed to provide any evidence of the opposite, I am afraid RJF was unable to proceed with this claim further.
