Shady company

Shady company, nearly a cult... there is no support, the forums will ban you for pointing out problems with the interfaces; the email support will tell you they will no longer respond to you after blaming you for the problems with THEIR product. They will do ANYTHING but admit their interfaces have problems... but also NEVER offer any solution pinning the problem on anything else... thus their interfaces ARE the problem.. I know they are... which is why their cult-like support can't refute that and banned me twice. Meanwhile there are plenty of other people on the forums detailing similar problems which the company will never address or offer any troubleshooting for, it's ALWAYS the user's fault or your computer's fault... despite any other interface of soundcard not having the same problems... THUS, it's not your problem or the computer's problem... it's their interface; then comes these sycophants getting pedantic; "it 99% is unlikely it's the HARDWARE," which decoded means it's the software the inferface depends on to work, which is famous for being terrible and hated by almost everyone -- just don't admit that on the forums or they will act like you're stupid or ban you; as if the issue is people not understanding totalmix... I understand it well... it has about 10 obvious problems that make it garbage, will RME listen.... NO!

NEVER buy from these people, they really should be sued for offer zero support and treating customers they way they do.

I am a simple hifi enthusiast and saw…

I am a simple hifi enthusiast and saw their Babyface Pro as a way of injecting Spotify/Qobus into my Hi Fi system from the interweb. I found using the device really complicated but having my DJ son help, all went well eventually.
BUT
If I wanted to make an adjustment some months later with son now on the other side of the world I could not cope. Indeed I returned the item to their UK base wondering if it was faulty. It was not faulty, it was me not understanding the interface.Their service was BRILLIANT, and I am not easily pleased.
I sold the unit as it was beyond me.
Because of the service experience, when I came across their ADI-2 DAC, apparently less user unfriendly, I took the risk.
I am now very happy with the decision.

I really did not want to write this…

I really did not want to write this review, but as much as their devices are top quality (or seem like that), the interface is horrid. If you google/check youtube you will see thousands of people struggling to understand how to use totalmix. The handbook is quite useless and very complicated. User Interface is not user friendly. Unless you are an experienced audio engineer, you will likely fail to comprehend what's going on. Even chatgpt struggled to provide me with answers. I then contacted the company, however sadly, the person who got back to me never was helpful, only saying well i don't understand what you are saying, be more specific, read the handbook... Very bad experience overall. The frustration is endless and I literally spent more than 10 hours trying to figure it out, still don't know exactly what i am doing.
