I bought two pairs of boot, knowing I’d have to return a pair for sizing (Covid life unfortunately), but have to pay £50 to return them to Australia, despite the fact they have UK stores! Lovely boots, the worst customer service. This isn’t my first bad experience of them either - I just hate that no other shoes seem to fit me as well.
The worst returns policy/procedure I have ever encountered
TLDR; I had to pay £65 to post the £375 boots from the UK to S. Australia.
I ordered a pair of boots from RM William's website. The boots they make are good looking and great quality. However when they arrived I realised that they were a poor fit so I decided to return them. Of course, I should have checked the returns policy before I ordered them but alas I did not.
To make a return, the boots have to be sent back to RMW within 30 days of receipt at your own cost. Being the ridiculous company that RMW are, you have to post the boots to Australia (!!!!!). Unbelievably backward policy - will never ever order from them again.

Ordered from facebook offer Boots with Matching belt .Boots arrived no belt ,After emailling was told initially belt would be sent separately,then two weeks later told no belts left !! No offer of replacement belt or discount of goods .Boots had been worn therefore unable to be returned.3 weeks on and to reply to emails .

I wish I could give these clowns a minus rating. Unbelievably bad boots at almost £500 fell apart in less than two months. They have refused outright to do anything about it. Ignore all communications and tell me it’s my fault
Another icon sell out
I purchased a polo shirt and rugby top from RM Williams online store.
The items arrived on time and well packaged, unfortunately they were very poor quality and not at all there stated sizes.
Items were returned promptly, with tracking and hassle free, I just wish I could say the same thing about the refund !
Trying to speak with someone, anyone in customer service is just an exercise in futility !
Had an amazing experience
Had an amazing experience at R.M. Williams Kotara store today. Customer service was excellent and the assistant was extremely knowledgeable and organised. Was 5 of us shopping for a bridal party so it could have been chaos but the whole experience was a breeze. Assistant was called Ash (from memory) and she went above and beyond for us. Will definitely be recommending! Thankyou :)
Absolutely poor customer service ! Avoid at all cost.
Absolutely poor customer service. Was promised cedar shoe trees with my Signature Craftsman which did not come with my pair of boots. Was told they would follow this up TWICE by the Gawler Place lady and on the third enquire - I was told ‘she was too busy’. No response as yet after an email to RM William’s customer service. All in all, for a $1000 pair of boots, I could have spent better elsewhere. Never again RM Williams.
Bought some boots 8 years ago
Bought some boots 8 years ago. Have been wearing them almost every day. Very rarely do I not wear them. I calculated that I've walked approximately 11,500km (about 7000 miles) in these boots. I've replaced the rubber on the soles but that's all. When I polish them up they still look new.

In connection with an online purchase, I ran into some difficulties, but Cait Woodman from customer service helped me and delivered an extraordinary good service. it's not the last time I buy from R M Williams
