Booking Cancelled Last Minute. Refund Takes 10 to 12 Days

I booked a ticket through Road Master Bus official website and completed the payment online. Everything seemed fine until the night before my travel date when I received a cancellation from their end. No valid reason was given. The bus was not facing any mechanical issue or emergency. It seems the trip was simply cancelled because they did not have enough passengers to make it worthwhile for them.

This is completely unacceptable. Passengers plan their travel in advance, take time off and arrange their schedules around their bookings. Cancelling a confirmed paid booking the night before the journey causes serious disruption especially for those travelling urgently or on a tight budget.

To make things worse when I contacted their customer support for a refund I was told it would take 10 to 12 working days. Not everyone can afford to have their money held for nearly two weeks after already being let down. You lose your travel plan and your money is stuck at the same time.

Road Master Bus needs to take responsibility for last minute cancellations caused on their side. There should be an immediate refund policy when the cancellation is done by the operator not the passenger. I would strongly advise others to think twice before booking and paying online through their platform.

I have traveled multiple times with…

I have traveled multiple times with Road Master, and unfortunately my experience has been consistently frustrating.

First of all, their departure timings are highly unreliable. They frequently cancel scheduled departures at the last moment and then expect passengers to rebook for another time. This completely ruins travel plans, causes unnecessary stress, and wastes time. If you have something important to attend, this service cannot be trusted.

Secondly, the staff behavior is unprofessional and rude. There is a rule that a male passenger cannot sit next to a female passenger. During one trip, when I went to collect my ticket for an online booking, a representative aggressively asked me “Why have you booked a seat beside a female?” — despite the fact that I did not book it that way. I responded politely, yet the staff member remained rude. Later, the female passenger herself confirmed that she had selected the seat, not me.

Instead of apologizing, the staff showed zero accountability or respect. This kind of behavior is unacceptable.

Overall, poor management, constant cancellations, and rude staff make this a very disappointing service. I’m sharing this so others can avoid wasting their time and facing unnecessary tension.
