Alpine iLX 690D

I have used Road Radio for years, always good service and advice, just brought a Alpine iLX 690D they gave me all the help I needed to fit it myself, as I don’t live near by anymore, good price and quick delivery

Great service!

Great service. Very helpful man suggested the right dongle to get Android Auto and Apple Car Play on my car. Ordered on Road Radio's website and it arrived next day. Works perfectly. Thanks so much.

Great Company, not so good aerial

The in car tech external glass DAB aerial. what a waste of money,I bought it for my motorhome.I followed the instructions. plugged it in to the radio and got 4 stations that sounded like they were under water. followed by no signal. Re fitted the £5.99 aerial from eBay and got all the stations back again.It broke apart peeling it off the glass.
I sent an email to Road Radio vocing my disappointment. They said to return the pieces and duelly issued a full refund. Great customer service. Shame the product wasn't as good as the shop

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave feedback. Normally, we ask for comments on our service, things like our advice, delivery times, and support, rather than purely on the product reviews itself.

From what I understand, you didn’t reach out to us for advice before purchasing, which is absolutely fine, but this particular aerial is more of a niche option. It’s typically used in trickier setups, like motorhomes or fibreglass-bodied vehicles, where there isn’t a straightforward place to install a standard DAB aerial.

As mentioned in my email, your aerial has already been returned and refunded in full.

We’d just kindly ask if you might consider softening that 1-star review a little. After all, it wasn’t our advice or service that let you down.

Expert Installation and Impressive Sound Upgrade

I had a customised sub and amp installed at Road Review, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The staff were clearly very experienced and knew exactly how to optimise the setup for my vehicle. The installation was carried out professionally, and the result is a huge improvement in sound quality – rich, powerful bass and crystal-clear audio.

Highly recommend Road Review for anyone wanting a professional audio upgrade with great customer service.
