Really great experience. Roadrunner contracted UZ Auto Transport out of Denver, to ship my sedan from Los Angeles to Colorado in late April 2026, for about $1100 (about the same number of miles if I had to drive myself). This was my first time ever shipping a car and it couldn't have been easier. Service was good, communication was good, price was reasonable, and everything went well. Pickup was on a Friday evening in L.A. and dropoff Tuesday morning in Colorado - about the same timeframe (or less!) as if I shipped a package with UPS or FedEx. My car arrived in the same condition it was picked up in. Roadrunner's dispatch people were friendly and helpful, UZ's people (including the driver) were great to deal with. 10/10, would do business with them again.

Easy from beginning to end. Driver was exceptionally good, careful, and kept me abreast of when he'd be arriving, when delivery could be expected etc.
The only challenging part was being left on "hold" (for over 20 minutes) a couple of times when I responded to the messages from the office that they had located a driver. Ended up finally hanging up. But then they located a truly wonderful driver so all is forgiven!

Fast and efficient. easy pick up and drop off, would definitely use again. Went from Miami to California and was there within 4 days.

They deserve NEGATIVE five stars. Do NOT waste your time with this company.

This isn't a legitimate car transport company. They're a middleman that takes your money, hands your car off to a random carrier, and then completely checks out. There's no accountability, no coordination, and no real service.

They gave me a 6 day delivery window, yet it took 13 days to get my car delivered, with zero meaningful communication the entire time. You are left in the dark, trying to track down your own car because they clearly can't.

Their tracking system is a joke. It's completely useless, just like their staff. It shows a route on a map with no real updates whatsoever. Even when I provided updates, they didn't even bother to reflect it on their own tracker.

When you ask for updates, it becomes obvious that they don't even know where your car is. Responses are vague, inconsistent, or nonexistent. There is no actual visibility or control over the shipment.

Trying to contact them is another dead end. Their website claims they're open until 7pm, yet every time I called after work, they were closed. When they do "provide" you an update, you get hit with a no-reply automated email full of NOTHING.

Communication between them and the actual carrier is nonexistent. I had to reach out to the carrier constantly, and it was clear they weren't receiving updates from RoadRunner either. The entire process is completely disconnected and poorly managed.

And of course, once you've paid, they disappear. No followups, no status checks, no support. Nothing.

Because of their delays, I had to rely on Ubers for a week, which added unnecessary expenses on top of an already frustrating experience. I requested a partial refund to help cover costs, and they refused without hesitation.

This company is disorganized, unresponsive, and completely incompetent at managing even the most basic aspects of their service.

Today's word of the day is USELESS. It's RoadRunner's mission statement and core value.

This is the 3rd time using RoadRunner to ship a vehicle, very easy every time.

Really great experience shipping from New York to Florida. The driver was friendly, picked up on time and my car got to my house in Florida with no problems. Much better than driving it myself like I’ve been doing over the years!

0 Stars – Waste of Time and Money
I reserved this service and even purchased airline tickets to receive my vehicle in another state—only to return home and find my car still sitting in my driveway.
On the scheduled pickup day, I was told the drivers were now demanding double the originally quoted price. When I explained that I had already bought a plane ticket based on their timeline, they repeatedly pointed to their contract, emphasizing that the pickup date was only an estimate.
I was then told the vehicle would be picked up the next day. That didn’t happen either. Instead, I kept hearing, “We are still looking for a driver.” When I followed up for updates, I was met with poor communication—and at one point, I was even yelled at simply for asking about the status of my vehicle.
I had built in extra time on my end to account for possible delays, but even that wasn’t enough. On the final day, I was told they still could not secure a driver and asked if I wanted to reschedule—after I had already spent money traveling to receive a vehicle that never left my driveway.
In the end, the communication was unacceptable, the customer service was worse, and I lost money trying to transport a car that was never picked up.
After sharing this experience with other military members, I learned several had similar issues with this company. I don’t know where their positive reviews are coming from, but they certainly don’t reflect my experience—or the experiences of others I know who have shipped vehicles across the country.
