Ordering was easy, website easy to navigate. Staff were helpful at the site. We gave it a low rating as we didn't think the website made their return charges very clear, nor did they make clear the things they would charge for and what they considered fair wear and tear. We paid nearly 50% of our rental charge extra in charges when we returned the van. They charge a large 'processing fee' plus £80 for a small tear on a rear blind and another £80 tiny tear on a rear seat, neither things we checked when we collected the van as we were new to this game so who's to say it wasn't there before. There is no option to dispute as they do the checks after the vehicle has been dropped off. I wouldn't use them again.

The staff at the Seattle location were amazing and so helpful! Would love to do this experience again. The only complaint we had was struggling to get through to the Roadside Assistance when we needed to address an issue.

Easy collection and drop off , wish I hadn’t got the bedding package though and gone to Ikea to buy some, as it’s wasn’t worth the money. Awful pillow and thin well used duvet.
Ending up buying blankets and another pillow as was so cold / uncomfortable.

End to end experience was excellent. If you are happy with a mainly on line experience then this works well. Staff at pick up and return were friendly and helpful but ensure you take time to walk through video instructions and existing damage notes and call out anything not on there. Vehicle was clean and excellent quality - overall experience was great and would 100% use again

The service was great in Madrid where I picked up my campervan and in Aachen where I dropped it off. My Sunrise Suite was clean, comfortable, and easy to drive.

We had a great experience with our new motor home. Pickup could have been even smoother, and kitchen utensils should be included. Even with the added kitchen box every customer will need to buy new dishwashing liquid and scrub/brush, and then throw it away after a short rental. Unnecessary, and not very sustainable.

On collecting the vehicle, you need to do check which is reasonable. But on return, they don't check immediately. So, how do I know the damage was caused by me? Especially, it shows Trent (tear). How do you suppose an ordinary people to check that on collection?

We love the Denver location of Roadsurfer. Brian and his staff always meet the mark of perfection. Our motorhome was flawless and perfect for our week exploring Colorado. Chris checked us in super efficiently and was very customer-oriented. Can’t recommend this location highly enough. We look forward to a return visit and rental.

Everything was great until about an hour ago when we got an email that there was damage on returned vehicle. We had no new damage and nothing was said while we were at the drop off point. The email said we had to wait if there is a charge. Not a good ending to a pleasant week. We rented in Edinburgh.

Super easy van rental experience and a great holiday. Great pickup and drop off experience withthe staff. Vancouver location easy to get to by public transport. Single bus from downtown.
We paid for the bedding and catering box as extras.
My only small gripe would be that catering box didn't come with any cleaning / washing up supplies and really I think it should given the charge rate.
It is clearly laid out what you get when you book it, but +2 months later you collect the van I wished I had rechecked what you get so I could have arrived better prepared with a few basic cleaning supplies, rather than having to shop for it and the leave it behind.

Recently returned from a great trip away in a camper castle, rented from the Valencia roadsurfer. The staff were super friendly and helpful and made the experience a pleasure. We will definitely be renting from them again! Marie Steve Jude and Albie

Everything went smooth. Very relaxed welcome and we could explore the camper at our own pace. Camper had all we needed!

Great experience with the roadsurfer van, good quality and reliability, easy check-in and return procedures with digital checklists.

Absolutely terrible communication. They charged us fees after our rental and would not communicate what the fees were. They refused to provide information about a ticket and continued to tag on late fees without alerting us there was an issue. We were fine to pay a ticket but we would like to be provided evidence of what we did and they would not provide this. Would rent from Indy Campers instead.

Our trip with RoadSurfer's was amazing! The Couple's Condo van was perfect for our trip and is by far the nicest van we've driven with any rental company. I really liked the lane assist, blind spot detectors, and the backup camera. Having a bathroom in the van was new to us and the bed set up was actually pretty comfortable.

We only had one issue with the van (the propane heater control panel had an error code W255 and did not work for us so we were not able to use the heat/hot water during our trip). We attempted to call the customer service line a couple of times for help but if it was not a trip ending emergency it would prompt us to go to the website and then hang up...

Jayton at the Denver location was super helpful and very understanding when we got back and explained the issue we had. We will for sure be renting with RoadSurfer's again!

We had a fantastic 2 week trip in our Roadsurfer RV traveling to New Mexico and Utah. A minor glitch at pickup was quickly resolved by the great staff in Phoenix and we were off and running! Everything in the RV worked great. We were especially impressed with the ability of the refrigerator and freezer to stay cold just using the battery off grid for a few days and with how well the RV itself ran. Plenty of power to get up even the highest mountain roads. We would certainly rent from Roadsurfer again!

Eight days, a campervan, and no fixed plan. That's all you need.

Looking out over rolling Tuscan hills and vineyards - no alarm, no checkout, no rush. Just pure, quiet freedom. There's something about living on the road that strips everything back to what actually matters.
