I was charged at new year with drink driving and with Mr sellars help I had my fears put at ease and was able to win an acquittal in Airdrie Sheriff Court today would highly recommend for all road traffic matters

facing a very difficult situation of a lengthy ban Dominic managed to fight my corner which resulted in a more manageable short term ban. What I liked about Dominic was that he was very straight talking and was very honest. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

I was caught by an undercover car on a notorious part of the A9 just before Christmas at 97mph in a 70mph zone.

I thought this would equate to a wrap on the knuckles in court, but when the citation/summons arrived I was facing a charge of Dangerous Driving.

I contacted 5 motoring solicitors in Scotland, each of them quoting various amounts of money for varying levels of service. Upon contacting Dominic, he was not rushing me on the phone during the initial consultation and came across as well mannered, well-spoken and knowledgeable.

Dominic managed to dismiss the charge of Dangerous Driving to a reduced charge of Carless Driving and the speed from 97mph to 94mph. Given a tough Procurator Fiscal in an area notorious for bringing the hammer down on speeders (Inverness), I was most pleased.

On my day in court, Dominic greeted me with a strong handshake and was very confident in his demeanor. In the courtroom he had a good repore with the staff and presented my case clearly, I’d never seen a courtroom in my life and he gave enough guidance so I didn’t feel nervous.

After a very short run-through of the particulars, I received 5 points and a £300 fine. I saved my new job and untold amounts of grief that would come with losing it.

I feel that Dominic was worth every penny of what I spent, and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone else who is in need of representation.

I was involved in a car accident back in April 2015 on the motorway. As a result I was taken to court for three days this month. I was accused of causing the accident through careless driving. However, my car must of had a mechanical fault as the gear box seemed faulty. I have had this dragging on for a year and 8 months!! If it wasn't for the support of Dominic, I would of really struggled. He kept me calm all the way through by listening to me and offering advice which he knew well. He was also happy to respond to questions that I had. He was happy to help if I had to phone or text him. He was always fair.Luckily I was found not guilty. I was impressed with Dominic from the start, I explained my son has autism and had physical issues after being gravely ill with cancer (when younger) and really needed a car in order to be able to have any level of independence.
Dominic was incredibly empathetic and so helpful.
I cannot enthuse enough about my experience with this guy, most of my experiences with lawyers have left me very cynical of them.
However this is not one of these occasions.
Dominic took time at court to make sure my son understood everything he needed to know, even explaining where to sit when called to the court and when to stand and sit (which helped him so much).
And the most amazing bit is...
3 points and £150 fine which considering the speed my son was caught at anyone I have told has been amazed at this result.
Do yourself a favor...
Instead of putting up with awkward and soul destroying encounters with lawyers...speak to Dominic...even payment and invoicing was simple and hassle free.
I cannot enthuse about this man enough and would not hesitate to use him again!
As for my son...he has been warned to behave!

Charged with careless driving and failing to stop and report, Dominic managed my case, advising me throughout, and ensured the prosecution accepted a not guilty plea at the intermediate diet to the more serious charges of failing to stop and report. He is a very approachable and straightforward guy. I suspect things would have been worse for me without his help and intervention. I'd recommend him without reservation for anyone facing prosecution for road traffic matters. Also worth checking home insurance policies as some of these may give cover for legal representation.

I contacted a few lawyers but didn't think they knew their stuff and just wanted to charge a massive fee. When I spoke to Dominc I knew he was the right solicitor for the job. He immediacy talked through my options and gave me sound advise. The result was that I was acquiitted at the trai diet. I couldn't be happier and would definitely recommend Dominic for a road traffic case.
